Happy anniversary Mr & Mrs @apple_muncher!
NSD#8
Had a long overdue lie in, though did have to shout @DS1 up for work at 7.30.
After a very late breakfast, I unpicked a coat zip, then altered a jumpsuit, followed by replacing the coat zip. We t out to the shed porch & moved the long lengths of wood into the shed. Should be able to sort through what's in the wood store now, empty it out then start filling it with the wood I've cut. A quick hand sewing job after tea, then did an ounce training modules for work. Another 2 new customers today.
Grateful for finally catching up on my sleep, getting things sorted outside, a lovely tea, with roast veg (_ chicken) & the first sprouts of the seasonUse it up, wear it out

Happy anniversary to The Apples!!!
I am back from my work trips. Practically everything went on expenses and will be reimbursed in full, so lots and lots of NSDs, but my house is a total tip.
Plenty of laundry done and caught up on.
Supper will be a fry up. Quick, easy, filling, and cheap.
Gratitudes: big candles, funny people, payday in two weeks 💰 💰💰💰, and a long work day on Friday.

Good afternoon ⛅Happy Anniversary for yesterday Apple. 23 years is impressive 🥇 haha. I think I managed 14 months once with somebody and they lived in a different city 😅
Up and down few days 🎢 but just riding them out. Trying to be more sociable and made a few new friends this week (hopefully!). Trying to be savvy and eat what I have in. Bit off track on my diet but I anticipate it will improve once I have a concrete plan for getting back to work.
Today I am grateful for:
1) New contacts and connections
2) Funny times with old friends
3) Peace and quiet and sunshine

Thank you @apple_muncher
Ive looked back on the month and can declare 7/15 NSD so far. Would be 8 but I was starving after a work thing so scarfed a meal deal before the 1.5hr drive home today.
Weve been making a very concerted effort with a beastly credit card this month and I'm up to around £800 in ebay sales that has come off the total and DH has vowed to take more overtime in the run up to Christmas.
Today I'm grateful for the glorious weather and DH scoring a 23 month 0% balance transfer for one of his cards which will make things slightly easier.

Building Self Awareness is developing the ability to understand oneself; the ability to understand one’s own thoughts, feelings and behaviour.
Knowing oneself well has obvious advantages; we are able to decide what’s better for ourselves, relate well with people around us and define a course of life that is far more fulfilling and satisfying.
A lot of the issues we face in life – be it in the choices we make or the way we relate with others, in personal life and at work, stem from not pausing to reflect upon what we really want and upon our past experiences, thoughts and feelings.
Building Self Awareness sounds simple and logical when we talk about it; but most often we aren’t truly aware of ourselves. We presume we know what we want or why we act or behave the way we do; but the fact is, the real reasons for our actions are often hidden deep within us.
To understand ourselves, we therefore need to unwrap the many covers over the mind.
Learning that impacts our attitude to life
Our learning in life starts right from birth. The support and affection received or not received from parents starts this learning journey. It gains momentum as we get exposed to others such as other relatives, siblings, teachers, schoolmates, other friends, strangers etc.
Every good or bad experience leaves an imprint and repeated experiences of the same type deepen the imprint. All these experiences shape our attitude towards others and towards one’s own life.
By developing self awareness, by exploring ourselves from within, we identify the major and repetitive experiences that have left a good or bad impact on our attitudes. So we identify what drives us and what inhibits us in life.
This awareness, in turn, can be used to change one’s thoughts, feelings and behaviour, in order to live a happier and contented life.
