Tomato Energy (Electric Only Supplier) - Too Good To Be True ?

Turns out my IHD works in every room, so not as big a deal losing the Octopus Mini as I thought would be. A little annoying but not end of the world.I have added myself to waiting lists for those glow devices, but the CAD only one is the one I am after which worryingly no longer has a product page, no need for a screen in my opinion when can use your phone for it.I also registered the meter again on bright but so far nothing is showing, it does say within 24 hours though.0

But if I am understanding correctly, the panel has decided to exercise their right to notify each other party of the default, but is not yet taking any further action. Would be interested in opinions of those more familiar with the system than me as to what this means in practice. Is this more than them being given a kick up the backside to sort themselves out? There is a bit more info in the previous circular here: https://elexonexternal.newsweaver.com/924j6pkkru/olf9t7tcekz1b6kl52yj6v?email=true&lang=en&a=6&p=10705006&t=536979

Glad I read this, as I just spent a fair bit of time researching their tariffs and inputting figures into my spreadsheet. If it seems too good to be true, it usually is!Mr_Robot_Elliot said:Pennies holding up the Pounds.0 -

Doesn't instill much confidence for accurate billing! Seems they're struggling in multiple areas.wakeupalarm said:Pennies holding up the Pounds.0 -
After digging around, I found this explanation of "Breach and Default" under Elexon’s Performance Assurance Framework.masonic said:Mr_Robot_Elliot said:But if I am understanding correctly, the panel has decided to exercise their right to notify each other party of the default, but is not yet taking any further action. After reading through the process and previous steps prior to reaching Breach and Default, it appears they've been afforded several opportunities to buck up their ideas, and have failed to; think performance improvement plan (PIP) in the workplace.

The two would appear intricately linked. Looks to me like they are failing to get metering data from customers and this is preventing them settling with the wholesale market. All related to SMETS1 meters they cannot read?BargainBear said:

According to the graphs in the notice on the Elexon website, the issues go back to at least 2021!!BargainBear said:
