MyWatts is back to updating every 3hours is showing the correct rates being applied to each 30min slot. They also have altered consumption and charges historically. I don’t yet have full figures for the last couple days as several slots remain blank.
Actually, I think there are a few slots that still look wrong, are they recalculating these manually!
Anyone feeling confident enough to make most of 5:30-6 slot? 😅1 -
It’ll be interesting to see whether your bill will be correct. I’m now using the 5:30-6.00 slot as well as the 11.00-11.30 & 22.00-22.30 slots. I’ve lost out by nearly £1 though on their recalculation of previous days since I joined on 6th November.1

I just signed-up, but there was no mention of a DD. I was wondering how they calculate it, whether they give the customer any control, and how one would switch to variable DD.
Their estimate of the monthly cost came out quite high (probably due to previous use of plunge pricing one Agile). It wouldn't be a problem, I'm mostly just curious.0 -

You require a direct debit, I think you'll get an email asking to set one up. The billing is done monthly, variable on actual bill0

Today I noticed that Tomato Energy had a stall setup in the foyer of ASDA. First time I’ve seen anything of them apart from on this website.0 -
HaHa I switched September 1st
I have meter readings on MyWatts for half of September and the first week of October
Still no bill or DD taken
They still haven't split my 2 properties they put under the one
Despite countless emails I've now given up contacting them.
I'm putting money into a savings account and will happily sit by until they pass the 12 month deadline when they cannot legally charge me.
Im saving a small fortune being with them but hope to be saving even more due to their incompetence.

Tomato simply don't respond to emails, best to phone them and as long as you speak to one of the better agents they are ok and helpful
But fair play, wait till they bill you and hope it passes the 12 month billing deadline, could be a plan.0
