Perhaps it wouldn't count. As you say, probably academic... unless they re-trained their sales team!MWT said:masonic said:

HMRC used to be classed as preferred creditors (might have been separate Inland Revenue and C&E back then). Nowadays they're not, so will only get crumbs and only if any fixed charge, floating charge, and preferred creditors are all paid first.QrizB said:Senapt also have a winding-up petition from HMRC. After sorting out my Sep 24 -Apr 25 bill ( via e-mail that doesn't appear in the My Watts App) in May and paying the balance of £20.01 (£563.05 bill minus £543.04 already paid) I thought it that was it.
Today I get the same bill for £563.05 but now with no credit applied to be paid via direct debit on the 8th July. I've just cancelled the DD but all in all it's a bit of a farce.

Sounds like a bit of a mess. Things looking more positive for me as they've acknowledged and agreed to pay my compensation.HillStreetBlues said:After sorting out my Sep 24 -Apr 25 bill ( via e-mail that doesn't appear in the My Watts App) in May and paying the balance of £20.01 (£563.05 bill minus £543.04 already paid) I thought it that was it.
