Data in myWatts appears with 1-5h delay.
Octopus IHD works (shows usage)
The only issue is that my usage is reported half an hour earlier, then I also read they bill hourly and somehow this half an hour shift falls into 23p area so safer to assume 5p ends at 5:30.1 -
Still only few days there, so no bill yet
From other groups of other members I see that possible issues with billing come down to:
a) that 30 mins issue I described earlier that 5:30-6 appears as 5-5:30 and then the different clock it runs in summer time make it look like it;s 6-6:30 hence being billed at 23p (so I'm avoiding 5:30-6 slot for now)
b) some people say there bill is correct
c) I've also seen some people reporting issues with Octopus regarding the last day - which I'm worried about as I used about 20kWh because of negative prices that Ocotpus lost access to meter and is billing at standard rate - so one need to be careful on the last day. In my case my -20p my turnout to be £5.20oh well..
But on myWatts website I can see daily costs as the rates are applied, you can download the actual usage and recalculate it yoursefl - I will do that when I get the bill to make sure it's OK. The 0-6 time should be OK with my approach, more worried about the shorter 9:30-11:30 as I don't pay much attention here.1 -

I waited until 6 weeks were up and £30 compensation was automatically credited for failing to issue final bill within 6 weeks, was at that point I was informed about not being able to pull those readings from meter, billed £28 at flexible rates.
I figured more chance of Octopus being interested if I was a current customer, i literally caught first available flight switched back, cut saga short I did get that £28 credited back.1 -

Also still waiting for my final bill from Octopus. The old supplier has to issue a final bill within 6 weeks. Failure to do so triggers a statutory compensation payment of £30 payable within 10 working days. Failure to meet that target, triggers a second payment.
Let's Be Careful Out There0 -
I find it very interesting, that they're able to bill you with Smart Meter correctly every month, but once you switch they struggle with additional 6 weeks and are happy to give you extra £30.0

I'd appreciate knowing your conclusionsTelegraph Sam

Started a switch to Tomato Lifestyle tariff yesterday. The prices offered were as follows
1:00am - 6:00am. 5.00p
9:30am - 11:30am 14.04p
8:30pm - 10:30pm 14.04p
all other times 23.26p
Daily charge 42.85p
For comparison the current Daily charge in my region offered by Octopus is 54.85p and the 12 month fixed tariff is 22.63p and flexible 23.77p.
I may not match my average this past year on Agile of 15p but it will undoubtedly beat Dec 23 Tracker average of 18.24p so far this year as well as later Tracker versions.1 -
Switch went live yesterday. MyWatts began to work within a few hours though goes down frequently. From the information on it I can calculate the following :-
1. I used 15.35kw ( my IHD says 15.41kw) at a total cost of £2.96 including SC & Vat Dec 23 Tracker would have cost £3.83.
2. The timings of the cheaper rates applied were 30mins out meaning I was overcharged by 16p and probably explains the difference between the usage on MyWatts & my IHD.
The problem is will the Bill correct the rate to be applied? I would be grateful if anyone can help?0 -

Apart from being weeks overdue in arriving, my 1st bill was incorrect due to the kWh usages being half an hour out.
A week ago TE agreed to recalculate the bill and issue me with a refund. Haven't seen it yet.
I did my own calculations using the free raw meter download information from n3rgy (unfortunately no longer available to new subscribers) and Glowmarkt/Bright websites to establish the correct costs.
For a number of reasons I decided to switch away from Tomato Energy yesterday.1
