https://elexonexternal.newsweaver.com/924j6pkkru/10hqvmj67efIt wasn't missed. It was discussed at length here. Elexon decided not to take any action beyond making the announcement, but reserved the right to do so in future. Could be that after another quarter things haven't improved. Still no official news on enforcement action or expulsion.0 -
If you need to check your usage, instead of hammering mywatt with an shower of F5, just create a free account with Bright. The data is even more reliable!
Months ago I had issues with data visualization in mywatt and there was an error which caused the consumes to be visualised with an offset of 1 hour.
The customer service at the time told me that the billing system is not using mywatt data, mywatt is just an application and can have issues or downtime.
So please, we don't need a real time update about it's status, and no if mywatt is not available doesn't mean that TE went bust.
It will come back... chill2 -
It works for me now, was expecting some fancy upgrades but no, still the same old school look..0

24 hours since they announced they're pausing new sign ups, anyone who knows more think we may have seen an announcement by now from Elexon or Ofgem etc if it had been enforced?
I did wonder if they were growing faster than they had planned, helped by forums just like this (I wouldn't know about them otherwise) as well as Octopus Tracker becoming much less attractive after February making a lot of people look towards Tomato.
With the SMETS1, billing, myWatts, and now switching issues I can well believe their explanation that they want to put the breaks on. But I could also believe it isn't voluntarily (or they've just got ahead of the narrative).
Fingers crossed for Tomato!1 -

That adds to my suspicious nature that they are under some sort of "get things improved/pay your bills in the next month of else" type of deal.

They probably realised they would need to pay £80 for missed switches so stopped that for now..1

We all need companies like TE and newer companies to succeed because if not then insane sc and every increasing bills with be the norm, and ofgem will do nothing for the comumers other than make competition in the market limited and expensive with no real options for consumers.0

If something is too good to be true then it normally is.
There is probably a balance between Tomato pricing and where a new startup can survive but honestly if they do survive they must have backers with big pockets.
The wholesale prices these past three months where tomato have seen an explosion of new customers (mainly I would say on their intensity tariff) have been very high and there is no way they would have bought energy in advance before the prices rose, forecasting the amount of people that have moved to them. I mean they can't even forecast for Elexon and that's why they are in trouble there.
It is an interesting ride none the less.1 -
The other red flag is that whilst they eventually filed the accounts for Tomato, the Senapt are now 3 months overdue.0
