OOh Redruby...brocolli and stilton soup-i love it!!! not had chance to make some for a couple of months but when I did, there was no chance of freezing it. I could just eat some now thinking about it!!!!! Where did you say you live??? :rotfl: just kidding-panic not I won't descend on you!!!
Hope everyone is having a good day.
I decided to go have a brief kip myself late this afternoon.
Kids are painting the papier mache pigs they made just before christmas.
Guess I ought to sort an evening meal out, but OH has just told me I can have the understairs cupboard shelved out as a pantry if we empty it, clean it up and paint it. more work but at least it should give me more storage, the storage in my kitchen is c*ap!!! There is a 3 ft square void in one corner!!! what a waste of space. as soon as I can afford it , I intend to have it sorted. OH says it isn't just a case of knocking through the cupboard and that we will need a new cupboard carcass and a new work top!!

Good evening!
Just read the whole thread in one fell swoop, my it takes a while:D
Pipkin, so glad your nephew has begun his recovery. What a worry, (((hugs))) to you all.
catznine, I firmly believe that a lot of migraines are hormone related. I've been lucky and don't get them, but my dear mum really suffered all her life until her menopause was complete when they suddenly stopped. My son does get them and his started and were at their worst as he went through puberty with raging hormones. All I know is I pity anyone who suffers them. Hope DD feels better.
I've been really bad today and other than cooking a meal, I've indulged myself with sewing and reading. Oh I did go to Church, and to my shame spent most of the service mentally planning a sewing project:o :rotfl:
I see Aussie hasn't posted, do hope it's just that her power is down. Might google for the weather, see what's happened where she is.

Hello all,
Was at work 8 til 2 today, not sure whether I am working tomorrow or not.
Not done a lot, written a letter to BT about our £300 phone bill.
I spent my Xmas money yesterday. I got £30 and I (very wisely I thought) spent it on this beauty. Hopefully now I will be more motivated to do the washing up, as I can leave it to drain, plus I have wanted it for ages. I know its expensive, but I think its worth it
I also got half a dozen of next years christmas presents for friends/family for the grand sum of....£20!! I will be so glad to be organised next year, this year was dreadful. So, thankyou to the poster who posted the £10 off lakeland voucher
I did do a bit of the ironing, and the washing basket is empty. We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -

I'm quite ok. Thanks for asking everybody. :A The weather is still wet and windy but the worst of it's over now, I think.
We just had a busy day upstairs yesterday and I was just too lazy last night to post.
I'm staining the balestrades today. It's so nice to work while it's cooler. My inbuilt's are coming along nicely. Run out of materials, but will get more later in the week.
Pipkin Glad that your nephew is recovering.
Cat It's awful to see that sort of thing with your children. Would it help if you pointed it out to your ex?
Well I better make a move on. We woke up late this morning & it's nearly 9.30am here and I haven't done a thing.unless you count eating breakfast.
Hope you all have a good nights sleep. Byeeeeeeeeeee
