Good Morning All
essex-girl - how did you do your stoganoff please? There are many different versions of doing this! I prefer the simple version best!
catowen - enjoy your day out sale shopping!
(((hugs))) to GB, thinking of you!
dlb - enjoy your walk, we're planning to do the same this a-noon,
OH & DS will tackle the weekly shop in a mo in tesco, not a lot really to get TBH, so hopefully he shouldn't spend a great deal.
Out side Xmas lights will need to come down today, decs inside are down & in the loft ready for next year. And I sat & re-used the cards, either made more tags for next year, or re-embellished the nice ones and made more cards! Just wait for family & friends to bring me their cards and I'll do it all again!
Will nip DS to Halfords after shopping, so he can get 2 new tyres for his bike,
Then hopefully, if it stays dry, a walk, may go to Lady Bower!
Roast Chicken & veg for dinner today!
Catch you later
Love Emma xxx

Morning everyone
Had even less sleep than normal last night. My nephew was rushed in to hospital having suffered a major seizure. He has epilepsy, but this was a big one and the rescue medicine didn't work. He's been unconcious for a long time and is on the high dependency unit.
He's only 2 so it's a really worrying time. Sis is about to have another baby, so she is no doubt going through some tough stuff right now.
I don't live nearby so feel really helpless. I'm trying to keep myself busy until I hear any more news.
Today I'm going to batch cook - I've a couple of chickens, some beef and I'm going to try a meatloaf.
:grouphug: GB and catznine
I need to put a load on in the WM and finish off the ironing.
Have a great day all.

Hi everyone. I was online at just gone 7am but didn't like starting the thread myself-I would probably have cocked it up!!!
Sorry to hear about your nephew pipkin. Hope he gets well soon!!
Catznine sorry to hear about your dds migraines. my eldest DD suffers from migraine and has done since she was about 8. She has had a CAT scan MRI scan but the end result was they found nothing, They say they have no idea why she gets them, we hoped they would stop when she hit puberty but they haven't. She did suffer less for a few months but just lately she has had loads-we wondered if they could be stress related. She is very sensitive and is a worrier. Anyway Hope your dd is ok.
Hi to every one else. Hope all who are ill get well soon and all who are well stay well.

Good morning all
Grannybroon condolences on your loss. ((hugs))
catznine as someone who suffered blinding (and I mean I literally could see nothing except white light) migraines, I can sympathise with your DD. Mine only stopped when I de-stressed my life. I hope they can get to the root cause of your DDs.
catowen have a fantastic day. I wouldn't expect too much from your Ex, going on his track record to date. I hope DD isn't too upset if he *does* get DS quality pressies but just tat for her.
pipkin ((((hugs)))) to you and yours. I hope your DNephew recovers soon.
redruby My DNiece thought the mars vodka was too strong so I now know that 3 mars bars is just not enough. :rotfl: Can it be mixed with any mixers to dilute it somehow??
stefjb Fingers crossed that your family reunion is better than the one your DBro had.
Well, the decorating of DS's bedroom continues apace but I'm beginning to feel it in my b*m. All that climbing up and down ladders to paint the top is making my b*m, thighs and hips ache slightly. On the plus side, I have actually lost weight over the Christmas holidays because I haven't overindulged at all. :j :j :j With the added exercise of these darned ladders, I'm hoping to have lost 7 lbs over the 10 days I will have been off work. Hooray!!
I'm sick of looking at the Christmas decs now but until I can get DS's room finished, I will have to suffer them. The whole house looks like a bomb site tbh but I can't start to tidy it until I can have access to all the rooms - my room and DD's are full of DS's stuff. Should be finished by Tuesday though so not long to go.
My FF is looking very empty as I have used all the Christmas stuff but haven't been to the supermarket yet as DD and DS are with XDH this week. It's all moneysaving! Dinner today will be garlic & mustard turkey steaks with lots of veg and mash.
Right, this flaming decorating won't do itself. TTFN. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Morning :hello:
I'm off to PC World in a bit, my mum wants a laptop. She rang me yesterday and told me she'd been out to look at computers, I said 'ooooooh what did you get?' She said 'nothing, I got confused by it all' :rotfl: My dad's not interested in the slightest, he wants us to drop him off at the pub on the way
mr and miss tru are at work today, master tru is still in bed
Specsavers rang yesterday, miss tru's glasses are ready so she's probably going to pick them today. It depends on her break, she gets the choice of 15 mins paid break OR 30 mins unpaid.
Not much to do today, I did it all yesterday. I might clear out another cupboard  Or I might not
Hugs for everyone who's feeling poorly
Pipkin, please keep us updated on your nephew
