    Morning Everybody

Got our new pusscat and he is slightly bonkers I think. Definiately going to be a outdoors type of man, he is currently running up and down my hall good job we live in a bungalow and its very long. So far dd wants to call him "Cattie" which we are not sure about.

Plans for the day are to make a sausage casserole in the slow cooker it'll have to on high now also need to make a meal plan for the rest of the week and possible go to the farm shop for some veg. I am also looking to sort out somemore of dd toys and find homes for somemore of the new ones.

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone

hugs to all, especially those of you who have had bad news and poorly children

Have been up since 5am. Still don't know how to start thread. have done two loads of washing, made bread, dinner in SC (we're having lasagne), might make pineapple upside down cake for pud. Have looked in freezer/fridge/cupboard. Probably will be able to live on this lot for next couple of weeks , barring milk:D .

Oh and I now am half-way through my essay, only another 2,000 words to go:rolleyes: .

Have been thinking about being more organised with everything next year. Think I will write a cleaning menu based around my shifts and committments. Also intend to fit my studying into this. Will give it a go;)

Have a good day everyone:A xxxx

    Morning all.
Bit by bit I'm clearing out stuff in computer room/den...........mostly paper I've kept for too long. Recycling wheelie bin is full but they're collecting tomoorrow to I'm chuck what I've cleared out then.
Managed to find some stuff that'll do for presents for birthdays or christmas next year hidden in the drawers so once I take them to the spare room out of the way it'll at least look like I've made some space. Trouble is,spare room is full of stuff waiting for OH to take to charity shop and the whole room is in need of a de-clutter/clear out..................oh dear me.........
Today...........its the three drawers in the computer desk.............full of papers that need sorting out into order, stuff I'veprinted out and not filed away, all that sort of thing................and does anyone else end up with pictures and then find they lack wall space to put them ?
I re-framed some pencil drawings given to me by my gran and can't find anywhere to hang them..............expect they'll end up on the spare room wall...............lol
Oh well, best make a start...............all this won't do itself will it.
Hope you have a good day:T

    Hello All

OH did the shopping within 45 mins. Armed with bags and at a cost of £45, that includes toilietries, pet food & our main food essentials. Luckily my mum has brought us a massive joint of lamb, so we will have that New Years Day! Its been ages since he's shopped and had money left from his wages.

He's just taken DS to get a new tyre for his bike, then we're off out!
DD playing on the nintendo wii, im still aching after doing the olympics again y-day.

    Have a great day

    I've been Money Tipped!
Pipkin - (((((hugs)))) to you and your family - especially to your little nephew, what a worry for you all, I used to have seizures as a small child but thankfully they stopped and I could come off the meds, but a worrying time for my family.

Thank you for the kind thoughts for dd, I had no idea so many people suffer from this awful illness, she is feeling a bit better today, just very drained and pale. She is (like me) a worrier and very sensitive but I wouldn't have her any other way ;) just a shame that her caring nature could be what is making her ill.

Right off to find the living on £4000 a year challenge for some inspiration as we hope to be able to pay off 10% on the mortgage this year and need to really focus!

Sorry, just got to tell you this-nipped downstairs to check on the rice pudding, and it has gone mad! I think my guess (without scales) of what 40g of pudding rice looked like was quite far off the mark :( It is so lumpy and the evaporated milk has burnt onto the side, so it is far too dry, so have whipped it out of the SC, added some milk and single cream to try and loosen it up, but failed miserably. So am now eating lumps of sweet rice for lunch :rotfl: Can't wait for my scales to arrive-Lakeland say they have been despatched, so hopefully tomorrow...and I will NEVER cook anything on High again, no matter what the book says!
