It's only fractions of pennies, either way, so I'm not too bothered.

Others have received the typical confusing responses back from Octopus for those on Agile during these house on social media groups. Different response per agent lol but then again a reminder they are beta tariffs.

If I currently use next to nothing during the day (solar & battery) and tomorrow decided to fill the car and the battery (max could push in would be around 3kWh to battery and possibly 7kWh into car) what would I potentially be credited?
I could probably run a cleaning cycle on the oven too for another 3 kWh or so…
You could run immersion heaters for an hour as well (free hot water), put the washing machine and dishwasher on.
I easily could but chances are it’ll be up to temp by then anyway. It honestly feels like too much hassle to set it all up.

Sotomorrow the price is likely negative for Agile users. If an Agile user has signed up does the price become 0p over their normal use?

I asked on X today.  The reply was when a price plunge and free electricity cross, price plunge takes priority.  When there is not a price plunge, then it's the free electricity rules.

Managed 1.6 kWh of import in today's session.

Don't think the sun was shining this time!

Hoping to get most of that for free, depending on what solar was like on all the baseline days (mostly pretty good I think). Although even if not, I still would have used that energy, just not necessarily at that time.

Result in. We used 1.36 kW more in the first hour on Thursday, "earning" 31p in the process. I didn't put the EV on the charger as I needed it, so the later two should be at least £1.50 more...

Just checked after seeing @kingstreet's post. 63p for the first one and I think I might do better on the others.

  • A magnificent six whole pennies for me.

I can't see anything yet. I still have a sign up button even though I signed up and got all the emails to say I've signed up. Maybe it's because of that or maybe just need to wait a bit longer.
