Oh well 91p from 15-08 session. Which was in main 45 mins of EV charging... Missed the 1st 15 mins 🤦♀️
Like above it still says "Sign up" in my acc area. 🤷♀️Life in the slow lane0 -
Email said £1.21, but credit on the account is £1.20. That's 8 Octopoints short.0

How do you know if you're signed up?
I clicked the 'fancy free electricity' banner and filled in all the details on Saturday 16th August but the banner is still there. I've not received any credit for the Sunday 17th (I did try to make the most of the free power) and today I found out there was another free session earlier this week but I never received an email invitation (I did ask to be sent one during the sign up). The 'fancy free electricity' banner is still showing in my account... Did my sign up not go through? Not sure where I stand now...0 -
New type of reward now
As we dive head-first into the (gulp) last Bank Holiday before Christmas, we’re all in need of a little recharge. That’s why…
We’re giving you 50% off Intelligent charging on Monday night.
When you charge up after your Bank Holiday adventures this weekend, it could be even cheaper than usual.
Here’s what you need to do to get the Bank Holiday Recharge:
- Plug in on the night of Monday 26th August
- Keep the car unplugged on Tuesday 27th August night
Do this, and we’ll make any Intelligent-scheduled EV charging on Monday night 50% off. (That’s just EV charging, so you can skip the tumble dryer marathon!)
Within two weeks, we’ll work out what you used during the Bank Holiday Recharge and credit your Octopus account 50% back!
If for any reason we can’t get your readings from Monday, we’ll credit you the average across your fellow Intelligent drivers.
Why are we doing this?
Monday and Tuesday night are a big opportunity to demonstrate the power of Intelligent drivers – we unlock mega-cheap prices for Intelligent drivers by charging your cars flexibly to support the grid. By avoiding busy times and making the most of renewables, we can nab cheaper wholesale prices and get compensation through grid balancing schemes.
We then pass on these savings to you with some of the UK’s cheapest EV charging rates.
Whether you decide to switch on on Monday night or not, we hope you have a lovely, switched-off Bank Holiday Weekend.
Love and power,

amount £1.96 credit £1.75. Email 27p credit 26p. It seems petty to complain to Octopus. What do forumites think?

I am receiving the emails from Pete@Octopus without issue. Have you checked your junk/spam folders to see if they've been mis-classified by your email provider?
The sign up banner still shows in my account but when you click through it says you don't need to register if you've already done so. To me the sign up process feels like a bit of a selotape and string solution, perhaps because they wanted to launch this quickly rather than waiting to build a better system... but it does seem to work properly.0
