Morning all. Fingers crossed for your DH YSL. Have a lovely holiday Piggers.
Lots of admin to do today, some that I just can't put off any longer. However, shower first then I'll attempt to walk Poppet before it gets too hot. She didn't want a walk yesterday. Flying will be changing bedding and doing washing.
Have a great day.Spend less now, work less later.5 -
Good morning my lovelies xx
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch bag, eaten breakfast, completed Wordle and Connections, and supped a brew.
Before I set off for the paid stuff I'll fill the birdbath and hedgehog's dish, water the hanging basket, and put out the recycling.
Have a good day.

Good morning 😁
I stayed up to see some meteors before heading to bed last night. Saw a few, then trundled off to bed at 12:30. It was a beautiful evening. I would love to live somewhere where I could see more than a handful of stars 😕
I need to get shifting so as not to waste my only day to myself! Not doing too well so far!
Round 1
Get up & dressed!
Breakfast
Open doors
Vac LR
Today's plan is to clean the carpet in the LR, clean the bathroom, visit allotment, maybe clear out the summerhouse? Today consists of 72 hours, right?
Wishing Mr YL luck with the interview 🤞
Ok - I'm off!! Have a good day everyone7 -
good luck MrYL
Happy hols to the piglets and Piggers

Happy holidays Pigpen and family. Good luck to Mr YL for his interview.I had a notification this morning that three of my passwords had been leaked - Scotrail, Instagram, and osmaps. I'm not sure whether that's just my accounts (I doubt it) or if there has been a security breach somewhere. In addition I was told that several other accounts had weak passwords including this website. So I've just spent over an hour changing passwords and one of the reasons they were weak is that a few of them use a popular religious name. So, heads up for anyone else who uses those three websites and popular religious names as part of their passwords. I have to say, what with mobile phone messages, signing in every time I want to use the thing, putting my glasses back on for facial recognition, taking them off to read the small print, verifying a new computer and clicking on links in emails - it was all a bit of a faff. Now to trundle the dog and actually start the productive part of the day.Better is good enough.6

When i was at work and had to change my laptop log in monthly I used 3 characters from a vintage detective series in rotation, so I had a fair chance at guessing if I forgot.
Washing on line. Dried washing sorted and non-iron stuff removed. Pots in garden watered.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I went on to Safari a couple of days ago and it said that the password for my Lebara account was on a list of compromised passwords. I wasn't even on the Lebara site when it came up so it was very 'clever' of Safari I thought. Anyway, I tried to log on to my Lebara account but none of the passwords I tried to use worked and so I clicked on the forgotten password link it said it had sent me and e-mail to re-set it. It took so long to come through though that when i tried to use it the link had expired [sigh]. I tried again and no link came through at all this time so I'm stumped. I'll have to try and contact them I suppose but I hardly ever log on to the account and I don't know what benefit there would be for someone else to go into it. In any event, presumably 100s of thousands, if not millions, of passwords have been compromised and I don't see what they could do with them all.I think, perhaps, that we worry too much about these things. There must be so much of our personal info flying around everywhere anyway as so many sites want to know the far end of things about you, even though it often seems totally unnecessary. This morning I had my hair cut and then went into the west end to collect a shirt and some socks I'd ordered. I also called in at another shop and bought some crystallised fruits for A and a box of fruit jellies for a friend we are seeing later in the week. I rather naughtily also bought some marzipan chocolates for myself. It's been very warm again so no flying done other than food prep and washing up.7

I forgot to say @Honey_Bear your chocolate truffle recipe sounds lovely. You could use crushed amaretti biscuits mixed with a little melted butter, or even crushed digestives, instead of nuts I should think.By the way, if any of you has an east-facing window and you happen to be awake in the early hours and there is a clear sky, you can seen Saturn, and just above and to the right in the sky, Mars. The word 'awesome' is very much over (and mis) used these days, but I do find the fact that we can see these planets, which are so very far away, genuinely awesome.7
