Have just had a cream tea to help empty the freezer (that's one and a half scones gone) and to use up the clotted cream.  Now feeling like a beached whale, but it's freezer decluttering so all in a good cause.

Freezer stocktake completed.  We will be eating out of it for the next month.  I found three boxes of two slices of Christmas pudding so that will be on offer as one of the desserts for the croquet day.  I happen to know at least two of the blokes love it, and I can whack it in the microwave to order.  Win:win.

The v@x which I returned as faulty under the guarantee has been replaced with a brand new one so I clicked in one of the old one's charged batteries and ran it round the dining room and sitting room which didn't really need it but one of the cats has left a bit of fur where the other one had a go at her so I thought I'd clear up the evidence.  How wrong I was!  The bagless thingy was full enough to need emptying.  Where does all the stuff come from?

That's enough flying for a Sunday.

Hi Fayolle - my set is brown with orange poppies so could be the same as your Mum's!

Got a washload done and dried very fast today.   Cleaned the bathroom and toilet fully - by which I mean taking out all the toiletries etc and doing everything properly.   Hate hate hate cleaning the bathroom.   Also did a washload for my DD while I was round there collecting the dog for a walk and then feeding him.   Too nice a day not to peg washing out.  Then back home to cook a roast dinner.   Managed to sit outside for a time reading today until neighbours came home briefly but then went out again thoughtfully leaving their shed door open so it could bang all afternoon in the wind....

No peace for the wicked apparently:)

Hi all

I have sorted some paperwork, weeded the back garden a bit, did some washing and sat out a little, although it's been very windy. 

Anxious about work tomorrow.  Sigh.
