Sorry to hear about your fish...I know how much effort aquariums take even simple ones
Today we have a busy day registering FIL death and a solicitor appointment. It seems sudden but we have to start thinking about wether we will move into house we been left or not as it will need work doing and we don't have a savings reserve big enough11 -

Crazycatlady2 take things slowly. Listen to what people say - most of the officials are very kind and will help all they can. There will be times when you can whizz through your to do list (I recommend alternating easy and difficult tasks - a phone call to a relative then something simple like cancelling/ sending back a bus pass). At other times it will all feel too much. It's okay to take a few days or even weeks out when you need to and allow time to grieve too.

I love this idea of slow living, thanks @mothernerd. Last night was the second night in a row that I've got up at 4am to look at the meteor shower. I saw loads of them over the course of 20mins, some with fiery tails, some so quick and short you only saw them out of the corner of your eye. Some flashed and lit up the whole sky. It was amazing, I really appreciate being able to see this as I usually can't see the stars, living in the city.Student loan £5655

Good evening⛅
Managed to get in some exercise today, though annoyed I ended up buying some non-essentials and ruining what should have been an NSD 😒 Am managing to keep on top of the jobs at home - sounds crazy - but just things like making the bed, doing the pots, keeping my laundry up to date - were all a massive effort. So that's a really positive step forward for me. Am aware how vocal my inner-critic can be so am giving him the rest of the year off haha!
Today I am grateful for:
1) Familiar faces at the gym again. Seeing them coming day after day inspires me to keep going
2) My budgeting software that keeps my mind tidy and finances in order
3) My PC - I use it everyday and it is my window on the World
Still on NSD number 6
Current Moon Phase: Waxing Gibbous 🌔 : This is a time to refine plans, keep the momentum going, working towards our goals that we wish to manifest at the Full Moon in seven days time. There is still time to adopt new habits and work towards a better version of yourself.
Have a lovely evening 😊

Evening turtles
Everything has started moving at speed for me today, turns out I have 100 hours of annual leave to use (not counting the 10 days I have coming up at the end of the month) before I leave. I basically will only have a couple of weeks left to work now. It's all becoming very real and I'm not quite ready but at the same time, need to go!
No NSD today as needed fuel and shopping is also being delivered later this evening.Save £2,400 tuition fees - £2,321.04 as of 08/24

A large bag of rubbish gathered from my room (another rummage down the back of the bed) and a sack of cans. Took 2 very full bags of books to the cs, bought 3 follow up novels in the 3 for £6 offer. Sorted out 3 bin bags gifted by the midnight pixies. Got soaked separating stuff into bins so came back in to rest for a while. Ds3 will do the rest.
Grateful for finding the sequels I wanted, easy healthy food, remembering to take a drink out with me so I could sit and rest outside. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage9 -
Hugs to all going through difficult times & upcoming changes. Take things a day or a morning/afternoon at a time.
Yesterday was an early start for me, as had to wake DS3 up to catch an early bus to do a training course in town. Did some yoga for the first time in weeks, then me, DH & DS1 caught s boat to s neighbouring island. Very stormy weather! DH walked to his dad's, whilst me & DS walked 6 miles round most of the island. DS hadn't explored it before, we stopped off at the cemetery too so I could show him where family members were buried. It was EXTREMELY windy & heavy rain - discovered my coat nor my trousers were waterproof any longer 😢 headed to FIL & spent the afternoon with him. The sun came out for our walk back to the pier, walked through the small wood near the castle as we had spare time. DS1 went to see my mum, picked DS3 up & headed home. Had a lazy evening.
Grateful for time with parents, exploring with DS1, the sun coming outUse it up, wear it out

Today I did yoga again. After breakfast I hung the washing out, then opened up the front of the garage & spent 4 hours knocking in nails & chopping up a huge pallet of firewood. Felt satisfied afterwards, but shattered! Had a 10 min nsp after dinner.
Unpicked 2 coat zips, then after tea sewed 1.5 in. Will finish the second one tomorrow.
Grateful for a compliment from DH, clearing a big pile of wood, getting organised for winterUse it up, wear it out
