NST AUGUST 2024
Let July be July
Let August be August
And let yourself JUST BE
even in the uncertainty
You don't have to Fix Everything
You don't have to Solve Everything
And you can still find Peace
And Grow in the wild of Changing Things
MHN
Just do it, Just make a start, Just do a bit of it, Just let it be and ponder and when it all gets too much Just Breathe, slowly, in and out, until your heart stops racing and all is calm.
Amazing Never forget how amazing you are and how far you've come
Unlimited Imagine life without limits, think what is possible
Grace Grace and Gratitude (rise above petty people, be thankful)
Uplifting Include more of the things that help you rise
Standards Set budgets before the start of the month
Today Be positive, eat well, drink water, move your body
Happy New Month (Kingbuari)
Practical August
Act like the person you aim to be
Use what you have (skills, food, what's in the garage, shed or under the stairs, friends)
Getting rid - sell excess possessions, donate to cs (focus on furniture), give away, dispose
Unexpected options (follow on from a life unlimited), always try to have fun
Start with whatever causes you most stress
Take control of the chaos - write it down, ask for help, have one most important to do each day
Pretty much of a muddle but that reflects my inner state and the muddle and mess that surrounds me. Sign up if you're brave enough or just come along for the ride. Even if you don't take part (come on in the water's lovely) take time to reflect on the challenge and see if any of it adds value to your life.

Good morning, please count me in. Can't wait for the kids to go back to school in 2 weeks (it's been a long nearly 5 weeks so far), my student to finish and to focus on this challenge a bit more again. Been slacking off towards the end.
Thank you

Me too please!I have zero work in August booked in. Nothing, Nada, Niente, Nichts.September is looking great - 3 jobs booked in already, but that is The Future (oooooh-waaaaaah!)So this is my designated holiday month. Nothing but fun and frolics!I have booked a whole family trip to Ireland with DH in tow, we can only manage 4 days without someone having to have appointments/meetings all over the place, but 4 days is better than nothing, and they can just deal with it.Everything else will be last minute, impromptu, as the fancy takes us.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Can I sign up too!
I need this to get through the next month. I figured out that the last "vacation" I took where I wasn't working on the trip was in 1980. My first trip to England. If I get a day off now, it is a miracle. I might make it down to the beach this month. It only takes about an hour on the bus - and I haven't done it since the 1960s. I want to get outside into the sunshine. The therapist told me to get out and walk - with the walker. So I intend to this month.
My slogan of "If it is to be, it is up to me" is going to get a lot of use this month.9 -
