    Morning.
Walked the dogs last night and this morning. I felt better for getting out, but after my fall I walk like Bambi, so I don't trip over anything.

@stymied I've nearly broken even. I won't lose money on them, but may be left with bags of them that I'll have to sell next year.

I'm still upset about what my sister has said about the house. My OH said this morning that I'm the hardest working person he knows and so whatever I end up with at least I know I've worked for it.

We've got payments coming in this week from our contracts and I've got two weeks salary coming from some of my day work. It's £550. I didn't get paid last week as the parent didn't confirm my hours. Silly rule, when I've sent in reports and attendance to the school.

    Enjoy your day. x
  • Just think of the upkeep on those massive houses! It’s much better to have a cosy terrace that’s easy to heat, less room for clutter, smaller council tax, etc. I think the older we get the less stress we want.
When my dog was young walking her was like flying a kite. She’s big and heavy and I think I spent more time on the ground than I did upright for a number of years 😅 I remember leaning on a gate looking over a field sobbing to myself while she waited for me to pull myself together 🤭

  • Morning.

I've cut down the DMP from £200 a month to £15. I'll save the rest for the F&F. The last two debts don't sit on my credit file.

Off out on a big walk today with the dogs. When I sorted out all the clothes last week I found a top that had been gifted. I knew it was vintage designer, but didn't know how much it was worth. It's currently sitting at £40 with 5 hours to go.

I went to the tip last night and bought some glasses. They are selling for £12 online. I paid 50p a glass and have 6. I'll get them listed tonight.

I think I'm currently in a manic phase, after feeling low. I'm going to be as productive as possible before the crash comes and takes away my mojo.

  • Morning.went for an 11K walk yesterday. Set off at 9am and didn't get home until 5.30pm. Long day. We had some lunch and it was lovely.

Came home and felt a little dizzy. Did my blood pressure and it was low and so had to go to bed. Not a nice feeling really.

Sold £60 over the weekend, selling things from the house. I wonder if I could sell £300 a month on selling sites?

Miserable weather today and so going to have a day inside catching up on admin, invoicing, listing and posting.

I'm going to let the last two debts sit for a while and build up my bank balance. There's no rush now as they don't sit on my credit file.

    Super, super news today.

My offer of settlement hasn't been accepted at 20%, but they have come back with 25%. That means that I can clear £6544.59 for £1636.15.

I'm going to pay it off when I get home.

This leaves me with two debts of £5163.10. How good is that? They have already offered me 20% off them. This means my maximum debt is £4130. They no longer show on my credit report.

I can do this. I will do this.

I went out for dinner with DD to celebrate. She thought it was just dinner, but I was celebrating. I have nobody to share my good news with. These debts have been a secret, a nasty, exhausting secret.

This was the last debt on my credit file. It's not ideal as I have Christmas to pay for and my tax return to pay at the end of Jan, but it seems too good an offer to refuse.

    Happy Friday. x
    This is great news!

  • Morning.

DD has fallen out with me. She is doing a charity run for where she works. She's had to buy her own outfit, pay an entrance fee and has sponsored herself £20. I told her that she shouldn't be doing that, as she's working for nothing. She bit my head off and now isn't speaking to me.

She needs a Christmas jumper for work and was going to spend £20 on one. I told her that was wasteful.

OH and me had words last night. His SIL is visiting and he is booking a meal on Sat, and his DD will be there. I told him I didn't want to go. He said that I have to.

It all then erupted with me telling him why. Every time I am in his DD's company, she is rude to me. We went out for her birthday. She entered after me, saw that there was a spare place next to me and chose to sit down at the other end of the table. I could see the panic in her face that she may have to sit with me. I gave her £50 for her birthday and didn't even get a thanks. The thought of having to go on Saturday makes me feel sick.

We then started reliving our family visit abroad, where she had told the grandparents a load of lies about me and after being squared up to three times in a six hour period, I had to leave with my children and get a coach somewhere else. To add insult to injury, the whole family then went for a family meal, while I sat on a coach for three hours with a bottle of water and bag of crisps.

OH's dad was squaring up to me, drunk, and was screaming in my face as tears rolled down my cheeks. He was screaming that I was a bully. His DD stood in the doorway watching and smirking. The next day I turned up at the hotel that I'd paid for and she saw me, went outside, phoned the grandparents telling them she was scared of me. My OH then got a phone call saying he was a traitor for talking to me.

I can't get past it. He said I just need to forget it, but I don't think I do.

  • It would be different if the behaviour towards you had improved but it hasn't so no you definitely need to protect yourself. He needs to be more understanding and should be standing up for you. Seems like he's too worried about upsetting his DD to tell her she is in the wrong. I can't remember if he did or not but I hope he set his parents straight.
