Anyone who used to own one of these classic machines may be interested to hear that Ford are launching an electric Capri tomorrow (10 July)
Although they are not exactly making a big thing of the event.......
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

Why spend money on marketing and advertising when Twitter (sorry X , I've never engaged personally) does it all for you.0

It's a Capri in the same sense that a Mach-E is a Mustang. So anyone who fondly remembers the 60s-80s coupe is going to point and laugh.I need to think of something new here...6

I imagine that it will be another unrecognisable "modern" car, that bears very little resemblance to the one on twitter, except the number of wheels (on the ground- there won't be a spare)
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science

may as well have called it the Ford "bob" for all the resemblance of a Capri --- hopefully they improved the handling somewhat though so a bag of sand in the boot isnt almost essential0

Perfect time to release another clone of a clone and all electric just as the market for electric cars are starting to drop.
The spy shots don't scream the old advertising of "The Car You Always Promised Yourself", not exactly a looker.
Is it on the Explorer platform?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...1 -

I've had a look. You got it spot on.
Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0 -
I understand that four further models were spotted in test at around the same time. It's going to be an exciting year for Ford.

I hear rumours of a Model A, it'll possibly be an SUV crossover this time around though, there's definitely a gap in the segment for one.Hoenir said:

Its a "sports crossover"/SUV so yet another inappropriate recycling of names1
