Next time I accessed the app it had logged me out and I can't get any further without the debit card PIN which I still haven't received nearly 2 weeks after opening the account. The switch has gone ahead and I received the debit card within a couple of days. CS are supposedly sending me a new PIN in the post. Hopefully that one will arrive otherwise I'm going to cut my losses and switch elsewhere. Fortunately it's just my burner account with just a couple of charity DDs I use for switching purposes.
I received my PIN on the 1st of Aug and the same again today and also a card reader today.
Strange because a poster in this thread is adamant that the p.i.n. is only accssible in the app. and also poured scorn on the card reader provision.
PIN is viewable in the app.0 -
"PIN is viewable in the app. "Yes, no doubt it is. Not unlike e.g. Lloyds. No use if the account can't be accessed through the app. though, as has been posted by others.I've received absolutely nothing in the mail from them. In spite of them telling me otherwise. Apparently they should send a welcome pack, p.i.n. and card reader by post (according to three separate C.S. reps).I'm still waiting for confirmation of and a closing statement from them which I was assured would be sent. Verbally closed the inaccessible account almost two weeks ago.0

They never posted me a PIN or reader, not needed either.

When everything goes right it's easy money, but when not it's it's a pain, it shouldn't be like that.

Just a heads up for anyone having problems with the app as an existing user. I was trying to open an account without success so re-registered on a new device and success. Account opened, blue rewards registered, switch initiated and money transferred. Fingers crossed now for the bonus.0

Guess it depends on if they view a business account as a current account for the offer and I cant find any info on it!0 -
When you do the switch do you need a debit card for the account being switched? I have a burner account ready for the switch but the associated debut card has never been used and has long expired.0

Finally got notification of my £175 switch payment even though I've not had one saying my account had been switched...
Lost £5 to a Blue payment 😥0 -
both my wife and my £175 arrived a couple of days ago. A simple and error free process for both of us all the way through. £5 Blue rewards taken out the same day the £175 arrived. Gonna watch some appletv now.
took 15 days in all.1
