Does anyone know when they debit the money for the Blue Rewards (is it on a set date in the month)? They haven’t taken it yet but state the incentive will be paid within 10 days. Kinda hoping I can get the incentive and get rid of the account before the merry dance of £5 out then £5 in starts.0

Let's Be Careful Out There1 -
"It’s not posted" The person who posted this about the Debit Card p.i.n. is very wrong.I've just got off the phone and apparently it was posted to me on the 12th and should have arrived about two days after the card. Not a problem now because I closed the account when on the phone.I should also have received a "Welcome Pack" in the post - still waiting. All I have received from them is a Debit Card and numerous text messages about using the account and having to make a card payment with the p.i.n. before it can be used contactless. From my experience, and personally, an inefficient bank.0

And to prove my last line, I received a text 24 minutes after closing the account.0

I switched on Thursday, got the bank switch completed text Friday & the same text this morning along with a text about activating the debit card...
I've met all requirements for the cashback but no text regarding that yet...
Also, the bank account I switched from TSB is still showing as active & allowing me to still log into the TSB app! Is this usual for TSB back switches...will it eventually close on it's own?0 -

but as I see you’ve closed your account now as you’ve been having issues with them.0 -

My switch is completing today. I’ve cycled £800 through the account, but don’t have the balance to do that in one go (£300 in and out, then £500 in and out), so will report back on whether that works. Given how quickly after the switch people seem to be getting texts confirming their incentive, I have time to scrounge up an extra £300 if the entire balance needs to go through in one transaction and will report back.0

LateStarter said:I just tried to open an account in the app, got offered a Premier account, and told I can't have anything else unless I go into branch. But I don't want my salary going into Barclays, so do I accept the Premier account offer? What happens when my salary doesn't go in?
Will deleting the app and trying again with a lower salary work?0 -
The pin for the card is not posted but it's available to see within the app under card management...
I've just had the incentive confirmation text which is splendid...
If the £175 get paid before the first blue rewards payment is due, can I just cancel the blue rewards completely along with the two 50p direct debits i switched over just to get the incentive?
Basically, do they come after you if you opt out of blue rewards before the first blue rewards payment has even been taken?1
