Only if you dont have documents or UK mobile. Besides it was closed at that time and offer states app only for switch bonus.

It has worked twice for me, despite having those documents and a UK mobile.

So... alternatively, does applying through the website work and is an accepted method to recieve said bonus?

That's news to me. It's a catch 22 situation then. Need the debit card p.i.n. but don't know it because I can't access the account either via the app. or online. No option then but, close the account.

I can't access the app. and I did set up an app. p.i.n. during the application.

BACS they do say on the site not to pay by card. They can’t switch off the feature

My time-frame was, setup 30p DD on Mon 8/7, showing on Chase Tue 9/7 started switch same day, given switch date of Wed 17/7, paid in £800 on Thu 18/7, text on Fri 19/7 bonus would be paid within 10 days.
(The 30p DD was take from Chase Mon 15/7)

That's fine, it doesn't state when you have to pay it in.

Why don't you just initiate the switch straight off. Why wait?? I downloaded the app, opened the account, did the switch, opened a blue rewards account, added £800. Job done. All in 10 mins or so.
