just a reminder of something stoneman posted awhile back.

London Clubs International which has several UK casinos is aligned with Harrah's properties in Vegas and you can get discounted rates going through LCI's players club link here:

    http://www.playerrewardscard.com/

It says you can get up to 20% off prevaling rates, but having checked for our dates in April it's coming up at 45-50% off the hot deals/standard rate for Bally's.

And yeah, on the LCI screen the make a reservation link only allows for 2007 or 2008 dates...but if you click on the individual hotel it takes you to the regular HET page and allows you to choose 2009 dates.

Also, as it appears that the actual booking is done direct with the hotel it seems that it's subject to the same 72 hour cancellation policy - so not a non-refundable deal.
Thanks I had forgotten about that I have just booked 5 nights over a weekend in april for $350.

Thanks to stoneman and a question....do they ask for any prrof about your london club membership. I wouldnt normally be worried but I think those paris rates are wrong....£75 for a fri and sat?? especially as all the other hotels via that site are a lot more money for same dates

lots of us going in April it seems...should plan to meet for a drink if our dates coincide and if others are up for it (and completely understand if not). We'll be there the 15th (driving from LA and not sure at this point when we'll be arriving) and fly back home on the 23rd.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

We get there the 21st. leave the 29th. So 22nd. would be a good night for a drink somewhere
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

How did you check the other hotels? I ask because if you went in through the LCI link to Paris and looked at the calendar...then chose a different hotel from the drop-down list, the results are NOT with the LCI offer...you have to start over at the LCI page to select a different hotel...I learned this when I was trying to toggle between different hotels...also a lot of the hotels don't have any LCI package for April at the moment.

I will say though that the LCI rates for Paris aren't reflecting the big convention in town (20th to 23rd)...the LCI package isn't available that period at Bally's, but is at Paris. Interesting.

We are using this on the 1st. of January at Caesars. I am taking my card with me but will report back if they ask for it. Really can't see that they will, I have used countless deals in the past that require you to have the relevant players card, etc, and have never been asked to produce it.
Don't worry, those rates are spot on, we have Caesars for a week at $500!!!

Excellent! And if you guys are at Paris and we're at Bally's it will be pretty easy to find a convenient place.

Yes, you have to just start all over again. Also make sure you put in your total rewards number, when we booked Caesars we paid $50 less when I put in the TR number
