Hi everyone I have been looking at this thread for a good few months now, everything is booked now for our first vegas trip but have a few questions.
We are flying out with united airlines on sunday & wondered how the online check in works? Also we want to see the mystere show at T.I, will we be able to buy the tickets at one of the tix4tonite booths on the strip or am I best of booking it on line in the next few days? If so which is the cheapest website?
Thanks in advance.0 -

Mystere is usually available for about a 20% discount at Tix4Tonight - at least it is early in the day when we've been. There have been some discounts online recently (35%) but I think they have all expired. If you don't want to take the time to wait in the queue and take your chances with the 1/2 price booths then booking online through the box office itself probably makes the most sense.
I've not used UA's online check-in, only Virgin...but normally you put in your confirmation/reference number with some info for each passenger and your done...some give the option to print boarding cards as well which is handy.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Hi everyone.
Newbie here. I've been following this thread for a few weeks now and need your advice.
We want to go to Vegas ca 20th Feb for 6 nights. First time visitors.
Have decided to take our chances with Virgin despite the bad reviews on here coz we want to go direct, and save a few hours. Also a few different colleagues at work thought it was fine.
Question for you though - should i book now for £477, or are these flights likely to go into a Jan sale??
Also, most of the hotel deals seem to run out in Dec/Jan so how long til the Feb deals come online?
Thanks

I think that £477 is a good price and I dont think it will go down I coudl be wrong of course but that is my thoughts. I think that another fortnighta nd deals for Feb will be outIts Vegas time -no longer :T a five year old has changed Vegas time to Orlando time0 -
I honestly wouldn't attempt to predict on next year's fares-usually predicting is fairly straightforward but the credit crunch is messing with everything,
Best advice is if you re happy with the current price-book it-and then don't check prices again !!I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

hi
Me again
Just wondering if any of you can help with a car hire questions.
We dont have CC, and we have tried but due to this credit crunch business no one will give us one : ( Alamo WILL loan us a car with a cash deposit, although they are coming in as being quite high.
Dollar & Avis want a CC.
Are there any other hire cos that will rent a car to us without a credit card that anyone knows of? Keen prices OBV please!
Alamo via holiday autos will cost us 167. Dollar will cost us 87but alas they wnt touch us?!
Ideas please?!?!?! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
The wife and I are hoping to go to LV this year new (its my 40th on new years eve), we've found a flight for £670 return (each), is this likely to be the best price we'll get for flights or should we wait a little longer, secondly, what would be a good thing / show to see / do on new years eve ?0
