    Hi

I know its sort of off topic, but I did buy my Archos in readiness for our trip to Vegas in .... 3 weeks!!

I'm having a lot of trouble ripping DVDs onto it, have scanned these forums and tried various options - Handbrake, DVDEncrypter etc, but still not managed it.

Would someone kindly PM me with some really easy instructions, as I'm getting a bit fed up

    Ta ever so!

    Tried the Techie Stuff forum?

... I wanted to say a bit thank you to all those who've posted on this forum, its made planning our holiday much easier, and we would've definitely missed that great Venetian offer!

Just need to book the first 2 nights when we get there - anyone any thoughts on the Pyramid Spa Suite at the Luxor??

Pyramid sa rooms are great fun we nearly booked there for our last two nights until MR Wynn kindly invited us to Encore for $99 per night ;-)

Good rates here for them http://vegasuncovered.wordpress.com/2008/11/06/crazy-end-of-year-rates-for-las-vegas-resorts-mgm-luxor-monte-carlo-mandalay-bay-excalibur-and-many-more/

Having the spa tub is brilliant. The rooms are big - a bedroom and lounge (TVs in both)...a bit worn and dark due to the windows being tinted we thought (some disagree) but nice enough for the right price.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

PS - just read your review of Mystery tours & reminded to print details, so thanks ..... 1 week to go :j

We really did enjoy it - don't forget the $5-off voucher on their website if you do decide to go. Have a great trip and can't wait to hear about it when you're back!

Ive booke a spa suite for our first 5 nights in vegas next year, 31st may - 5th june and originally it was $948, ive noticed now under a new offer its about $150 cheaper for the same duration so i need to cancel/rebook.

In your opion ferf is around the $800 mark for 5 nights in the spa suite a fair price??

I can get the Mirage for 3 weekday nights, using this new hot 'Volcano' offer:
    https://reservations.mgmmirage.com/bookingengine.aspx?host=promo&pid=160&code=30VOLCANO&kbid=374305&sub=vhh01

    "Tower Deluxe Room" - $406 + Taxes
    or
    "Strip View Room" - $343 + Taxes

Seems good value - think i'm gonna book it as my 'fail-safe' (comments welcome) but thought i'd share :)

I was looking at that same deal earlier today for 3 nights in April (we have 5 booked at Bally's but need the first 3...can get Bally's for about the same, but might try somewhere different)...still considering south strip though - so as to stay a bit further from Bally's the first 3 nights...may book this as a back-up like you.

    we're splitting too...
    3 nights @ 'mid / north-strip'
    2 nights @ 'zion' (possibly)
    3 nights @ Mandalay Bay

[edit]: actually, scrap that, have just booked 4 nights @ Mirage (inc. Friday) and 1 night @ Zion as it only worked out at 10dollars more doing it that way and i'll save a day's car hire (£30'ish)

(yes yes yes, I know, i'll spend shedloads more on gambling but that's not the point! :D )
  • we've just booked the mirage 'volcano' offer for our second hotel in vegas for next june.

6 nights at a total cost of $643 at the time of booking today
