Sorry, should have been more clear...it isn't bed bugs I've read about several times...but cockroaches...I could write off a few comments of such a nature as someone being alarmist, but have read it many times now. I'm sure that it's like any large hotel - some rooms are OK, others not so much.

Ahhhhh I haver never seen any there but to be honest I was probably too bored to notice, I used to like the Sam Remo but Hooters is just horrid and of course boring ;-)
Its Vegas time -no longer :T a five year old has changed Vegas time to Orlando time

Well we have finally booked up for next year!!
    Staying at The Signature.

Bit disappointed we couldn't get a better deal though - especially seeing as our parents etc are having to pay for themselves!! But never mind.

Just need to choose our chapel now!! :)

I totally agree - the lows will be overnight...just that some folks assume that it's always hot in the desert. :) First time we went in December we were surprised just how cold it could be...even some of the daytime temps were very cold with the windchill...we didn't expect it to be hot - but certainly hadn't expected winter coats and wishing we'd brought gloves and hats as we did at least one day!

Not only is it freezing cold but it's always very dry. So watch out for the static electricity (when I went I used a hotel towel to open the doors, haha), and bring chapstick! My lips were sooo chapped when I was there and for 2 more weeks after I got home. This is especially true if you are used to living in a humid place (I live in Houston..). Start using the chapstick even before you get to Vegas, and yeah, bring some warm cloths if you'll be here for the winter, unless you plan on staying in the hotel all day long!

Oh, I hear you - I'm a chapstick/carmex/blistex/anyex addict from way back and I always have many, many variations with me as I always lose some and must have a spare or 3. I also have to bring a vat of body butter or some really strong body moisturizer and slather it on morning and night or my legs get chapped - so weird! I think part is the dry and part is the bleach in the hotel linens.

We've also resorted to buying saline nasal spray at Walgreens or CVS as sometimes it's just so dry that it's painful.

Oh, and for static - my husband suffers terribly...a dryer sheet in your pocket is a good trick. :)

I also get through lots of chapstick and moisturiser and as for STATIC it is scary sometimes, door handles and the touchscreens on the slots are the worst!

I used to have major problems with static there, but using fabric conditioner when washing clothes has stopped it.

That is the one that is looking to be our favourite so far actually!! Hope to decide for definitie and book on Sunday! :)

Bit worried about the hotel and flight booking though. Went through Ebookers but some of us have on our info seats confirmed and others have seats pending approval from airline??
Also although we have all booked in couples some have seat numbers which are not even together (but when booking it said we would be sat together) and other couples only have one seat number?!?

Call the airline directly...they should be able to help you with seat requests...they won't be guaranteed, but better to get in and call them and get the requests in than waiting until you get to the airport.

Sorry, should have said that each party who booked will need to call - the airline normally won't speak to you about anything other than the booking you are a party to...so if you booked as a number of couples which I think is what you've said, one from each set of couples will need to call.

The other option is depending on what airline you may be able to select seats online through the airline's website. I've not used ebookers before, but generally you will get a confirmation number from the airline as part of a 3rd party confirmation.
