I see you havent voted in the poll yet, my guess is it is Slots for you

    Haha - yes, that's it - I was jealous. :)

And I swear I voted in the poll (slots, naturally) - I think the board eats my posts and votes and everything.

    Couple of show deals.

www.goldstar.com is now offering Mystere for some dates for $67.70 (plus booking fee I think). Full price these tickets are $109.50...they are sometimes available at the 1/2 price booths but only for 20% off...but they do sometimes have the category 2 tickets which would work out slightly cheaper than these.

    And travelzoo's latest:

    $46-$59 -- "Spamalot" (1-week 33% OFF sale)

$49 -- Carrot Top comedy show (FREE Carrot Top DVD)

    $79 -- "Le Reve" (1-week 33% OFF sale)

$68 & up -- "Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular" ($40 OFF Orchestra & Gold Circle)

$69 -- "Stomp Out Loud" (30% OFF best seats in the house)

    $41.25-$55 -- "Mamma Mia" (50% OFF)

    http://shows.travelzoo.com/las-vegas-shows/371795?sef=done&ptl=&rating=

Carrot Top was HILARIOUS...but is normally available at the 1/2 price booths if you go early enough and the only offer here is the free DVD - that's the normal price for tickets....and if the free DVD is the same one they were selling at his show 2 years ago it's rubbish...at least we got ours on ebay for $3. :)

some pretty good prices for Phantom and Le Reve . might just have to book the latter :D

The Mystere tickets usually sell out pretty fast from my experiance , so grabbing them now for $67 is probably worth the time saved (and getting out of bed) to be 1st in the queue
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

Sorry dont know what the Plaza is like, except the casino is a bit grotty. Have you been to Vegas before, if not I would reccomend staying on the strip.

Yes it is safe downtown if you stay around fremont street but area between there and the stratosphere is a bit rough.

    Dont know about shuttle sorry.

The light show in the eve is good on fremont street but other than that there isnt much else down there

Thats good, I have been to Vegas about 6 times and have never stayed downtown, just because I would miss the buzz of the strip. Each to their own though. sorry cant help anymore about the Plaza
