We stayed at the Plaza this time ,we use to stay at the Four Queen's always above the 12th floor but now they have shut the street that runs down the side and across freemont street and built a stage there the music is way to loud.
Plaza rooms are clean and tidy and we know our house keeper maria so she gives our room special attention.
MSS and Fremont no idea about the rooms but the buffet restaurants are great.
The Paradise Buffet in the Fremont has a sushi bar included.

When we arrived for dinner one night a guy was at another table cracking open crab legs and when we left an hour later he was still their cracking open the crab and his poor Mrs was sitting there bored to tears. :mad:0 -
SeptemberDriving an automatic is very easy and you'll be especially grateful for it if you're in slow moving traffic...only problem I find is I keep trying to press the clutch pedal for a day or so.
I had to go back and ask the rep how to release the brake and get it in geari felt a right wally.

MayWell what can i say? This great land i reside in must be full of Homosexuals.
But I would just like to clarify that I have no objection to any ones sexual orientation, some of my best friends drink lager. :beer:The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
March:T ferf1223 i had the same problem and when i got back it felt odd using the clutch.

I totally forgot about that (I grew up driving an automatic so I always put my foot on the brake just out of habit).
I have also now learned to check:
a) where the petrol cap is
b) how to release the flap to the petrol cap
Too many incidents at a petrol station at the end of the trip while my husband's in the room packing up his case where I get stuck wandering around the car and crawling all over the driver's seat to see things from a different angle and have to end up asking some random stranger to help me.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
January/FebruaryI have noticed on American cars there is an arrow on the fuel gauge showing which side the fuel filler is,I have not seen this on any UK car.0

Marchfor those who aren't already members, you can sign up for Venetian's slot club online and get $15 in free slot credits...this beats the $10 voucher in the ACG/POV (can't remember which it's in, possibly both).

Julyalso once used Airline Network ( now netflights) at the Mirage with Dollar . again zero problems here
If you take into account the necessary insurances & the free tank of fuel, the Platinum Package with www.netflights.com works out cheapest, I think you'll find. You can hire from, and drop off to, a list of hotels with Dollar, which is excellent if you don't need the car in Vegas (it saves driving back to the airport and then getting a taxi back to your hotel). And i've never had an issue with them either.0 -
Maywe willbe staying 4 nights in vegas, then going on to san diego/LA so will park up the car at the hotel car park for those nights basically.
