Maylooks good, what engine was in it?
Thru which hire company from net flights?0 -
Marchwe had a Charger in June (though in Chicago, not Vegas) and I was really pleased with it. I still don't like the look of them but it was a very comfortable car and I didn't think it was too hard to drive or park...I had expected it would be difficult for me being used to a much smaller car but it was fine.
We normally don't book a full-size (category it falls into at least with Dollar) but it's what we got in June though we'd rented an intermediate. We've booked a full size in October and I'll be pleased if we get a Charger...picking up at Bellagio so options will be limited.
funkyfin2000 - Dollar considers it a full-size car, but there's no guarantee you will get a Charger (normally they say 'or similar' as there are other cars that fall into the category). Many say if you book an intermediate/mid-size they'll likely be out of them and you'll get a free upgrade to a full-size. Suspect that's what happened to us in June. If you pick up at the rental car facility you'll probably have the best chance as you can pick the car you want from those in the area they point you too...or you can slip the guy a note to give you what you want instead of what you paid for.
Sorry, but I have no clue what engine was in the one we had - it was quite zippy though and the speedometer went to 160 for what that's worth.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
AugustI see stoneman has already answered, just thought i would add my experience.
The c300 is big on the outside and plenty of room inside for passangers ,is very comfortable, but drives like a wallowing hippo (I think u may get what I mean), makes you feel good when driving it though.
The BOOT space is not good for a car of that size we struggled (but mangaged ) to get one large case and 2 medium cases in it.
This year we had a dodge charger and the boot seemed to accomodate the cases much better.
How big were your medium cases? I have quite easily fitted in cases for a family of four.
And it doesnt drive like a 'wallowing hippo' it drives like a dream.0 -
MarchFerf, congrats, just saw you have over 1,000 posts, is that how you get the medal? Well done
Egads. Must post less.
Still, Trets and Photome still have me beat.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Erm.
I am such a girl.
The car we had was a Chrysler 300...not a Charger.
They DO look a little alike...don't they?
They both start with C at least.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
November/DecemberI've used them a few times and always get Dollar.0

Just booked an 8 night stay in Caesars in December for the grand total of $926.50 including taxes, compared to what we were looking at a few weeks ago I'm well chuffed - it's a brilliant deal. All but two nights of our stay were $95, the rest were at $140.
I did book our stay in two parts though as it wouldn't let me use the promotion for longer than 7 nights, but I'm sure I've read on here before that others have done it with no problem.
Plans are finally coming together!!0 -
Which promo bit? Link?illegitimi non carborundum0
