Spent last week at thorpe park and went on Stealth (4 times) which is the best coaster ive ever been on. Future Mrs Daz has done the one at Cedar point which is twice as high, which she ensures me is 'fun'.

Six flags looks good and if the queues allow, we'll go on all the coasters.
Agreed that 6 flags is a good 40 minutes away on the I-5 from Universal. Also if planning 6 flags see the website first for ride closures, we made the mistake of not doing so and traveled 5 hours from Vegas in April only to find the 4 best rides shut for maintenance. Bloody furious I was!!
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Oh that is the car I want us to hire next year. Please please tell me what the boot size is like. Will it fit 4 suitcases in it? It looks big on the outside but is there plenty of legroom in the back for 2 growing teenagers?

Someone who lives up the road from us has this car and I have considered loitering outside his house until he opens up the boot and non-chalantly taking a peek, but I think it might be wise not to :p

I see stoneman has already answered, just thought i would add my experience.

The c300 is big on the outside and plenty of room inside for passangers ,is very comfortable, but drives like a wallowing hippo (I think u may get what I mean), makes you feel good when driving it though.

The BOOT space is not good for a car of that size we struggled (but mangaged ) to get one large case and 2 medium cases in it.

This year we had a dodge charger and the boot seemed to accomodate the cases much better.

We stayed at a bestwestern in Pasadena (north east LA) for about $80 a night inc breakfast, its about 45 minutes from 6flags and 5 minutes from santa anita racecourse if you like the horses, even if you dont it is worth going its very cheap and fantastic facilities but they only race ther for about 4 months of the year.

You can print at home tickets for 6flags on their website and make a good saving on gate prices...its well worth going

Wouldn't agree about six flags being only ten minutes away though, more like half an hour or more
I meant 10 mins away from Universal City, not Santa Monica ;) it's actually half an hour according to google maps but I always find that they assume everyone drives like a wuss ;)

We had a Dodge Charger in California last year and really liked it.

    Booked it through Netflights.com.
