unless you are overly keen on very hot sunshine , march will most likely be pleasant and reasonably sunny weather wise.
Las Vegas is not Spain , and is in the middle of the desert remember. Vegas is also a year round destination and March can be busy, so don't expect the place to be empty either.
i went early April this year and weather was ideal , nice and sunny but not overpowering.Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -

We went in March this year (over Easter) and thought it was perfect for us...we aren't huge pool people though and we don't like it particularly hot - we thought it was lovely.
Agree with Trets that March can be a busy time in Vegas - the NCAA (college basketball) championships run part of March into April next year and can bring big crowds in so sometimes hotel rates are a bit high and restaurants, etc. crowded.
I would definately keep an eye on deals for hotels closer to the date just to see if you can do better than whatever rate you booked - it's quite early for any good deals if any will be available.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

MayJust back from 7 nights at PlanetHo. Not very impressed. Used $40 trick to get a strip view resort room, and we ended up with a view of city centre and not alot else. Room was set out all wrong, TV was on the side wall adjacent to the bed, so you had to crick your neck to see it. Smellies were terrible, didn't even bother to bring any home. Valet has to be the slowest in town, we ended up parking the car in the Miracle Mile shops and walking to our room most days. The pool area sucks, all concrete on the 6th. floor. One small pool as the other one was out of service. Went to Flamingo GO pool most days, $10 to get in for guys but girls are free and you don't have to be staying there, well worth it for the luxury IMHO.
I am a gold card holder at PlanetHo and at the end of our stay saw my host about getting some food comped. I played craps 2 hours a night, 6 nights average bet $100 and was told that I hadn't earned enough for even a sandwich!! Will never go in that place again.
Not a very good trip gaming wise. the bar top V/P in every casino we went into fleased us, it is very noticeable now that the games away from the bars are much looser. Craps started out quite well for the first 2 nights but then the rot set in, couldn't find a hot table in any place we went to. Watched one table and 7's were coming out all over the place so decided for the first time in my life to play the "dark" side (where you want a 7 to come out so you win and everyone else looses) made $200 on that table alone, but will probably never do it again as you are on your own and craps is a community game. Hey, but at the end of the day I am there to make money not lose it and be part of the crowd.
Food wise we decided to make an effort and try some new places, and sit down with proper napkins and metal knives and forks. Grand Lux in Palazzo was fantastic. I had chicken pot pie, OH had Parmesan chicken, Boston cream pie, 2 cokes, $45 bill. Huge portions and nice setting, ask to sit inside, not out in the casino as it is pretty cold. P.F. Changs PlanetHo, ate there twice, first time lemon chicken, special noodles, beef and black bean sauce, rice, great wall of chocolate, 2 cokes $40!! Second time dropped the lemon chicken and bill was $30 One of the best Chinese I have had. They are about to open the outside section, so you can eat out and view the lovely city centre project if that's your thing. Bouchon Venetian, nice chicken Provencal, fillet Mignon 2 cokes, $70 wow!!!! Cheesecake factory in forum shops, meatloaf, chicken, desert, 2 drinks, $35. Trevi Forum shops, you can ask for half portions of the pasta dishes, did that for Linguine and spag. bol. and the bill came to $25. Peppermill, well you know all about the portions there. Steak, chicken, 2 cokes $40 total. A nice meal at Angel Park golf club after our round there, sitting outside looking over the course, easy to forget you are in Vegas, idyllic location, next to Marriott resort on Rampart Drive. Total for that one $30. Spice Market buffet in planetHo, don't know why everyone raves about this place, thought it very ordinary, and a bit steep for what you get. Cravings buffet in Mirage for what we thought was lunch. 2:30 in the afternoon they changed it to dinner!! think we paid about $60 and was complete rubbish. Buffet in Paris for breakfast, what a nice place, I can see why it is voted the top breakfast buffet, loads of healthy choices and about $13 each. All in all pretty cheap prices, no idea why you would need to pay $100+ for a meal in Vegas. Oh, thats right, it's the hype. Came home 6lbs. heavier. Will stick to coffee and bran muffin for breakfast and sandwich about 3pm, and a trip to Ellis Island BBQ and in&out burger on future visits.
Flights. Traveled Upper on a reward flight going out with VS to SFO then on with Virgin America to LAS. VX are a great airline, plus you get 1 bag allowance of 70 lbs. free, pay the extra $15 for the legroom seats on row 3 if using them, well worth it. They also almost always offer an upgrade to first for $50 a check-in, but on an 1.5 hour flight don't really think it worth the money as you don't get the full meal service, but if you have extra luggage the $50 could go towards the 1 bag extra allowance you get in first.
Some idiot in the Virgin clubhouse let the girl giving me my treatment work while she had a streaming cold, you guessed it, 4 days into the trip OH and I came down with it, we never seem to get away without getting something on our trips. Made the flight back home in Premium a nightmare.
I don't like these new premium seats, much prefer the older ones in the bubble on the direct flight from LGW. the leather is too hard. The ones on Heathrow fleet are in the main body of the 747 and you feel as though you are in a glorified economy cabin, would expect a lot better for more than double the Y fare.
Whether was great except for landing in a thunderstorm at LAS, seat of the pants stuff that was. 100 degrees all week and never saw a cloud the whole time.
This was a major shopping trip, OH replenished her wardrobe with 5 new dresses a coat, a pair of Louboutin's, and some other stuff. I bought a belt, shirt and a new driver!! Her favorite haunts are Bebe, Guess and Marciano, make sure you sign up for all the store cards as you don't need to spend a lot to get some great discounts. we did some pounding of Fashion show Mall, forum shops, Miracle Mile shops, and Pallazo shops. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
Anyone reccommend Vegas in March???

Whats the best time to go? Everyone will have different reasons.
I have been in March 5 times and mostly had good weather,70 to high 80s, but it was cold and very windy once. I will be there last week in March again next year, havent looked at hotels yet. As others have said Vegas is always busy so from that perspective it makes no difference.
If you want temps in the 100s go in June,July or August, altho I have been in May and it was 110.0
