How much better is the MGM Signature to the MGM Grand? Is there a big difference?

When we went last year (for the first time) we stayed in the MGM grand and got an upgrade to from a tower room to a celebrity spa suite which we loved (we did paid for this upgrade $30 a night - hadn't heard of the $20 tip trick then).

We are going back in october this time for a week and as we couldn;t stretch to the cost of a 5 star hotel decided if we were going to stay in a 4 star again we would go back to the MGM as we had liked it so much and didn;t want to risk being disappointed chosing another.

We have booked through expedia but looking on there I can see that the price difference between the tower room we have booked and the signature is miminal and was wondering if its worth changing to a the signature (if we can change it now - I think we may have to pay a small fee to expedia to change).

Yowza. That's awesome. I was proud of my £300ish. Much work to do.

I learned about Quidco from the 2007 version of this thread - specifically the £20 you could earn by signing up for the PO credit card. I love it.

It's still rather incredible to me that they give you money for buying things you were going to buy anyway. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Morning,
Trets - thats an amazing amount! Nice one.
Ferf - I have just gone over the £300 mark and my year will be up in a couple of weeks I think. Its amazing isnt it - I NEVER buy things I wouldnt have already bought and do what trets does. When I first heard about Quidco and gave it a try I told all my family and friends to use it and they STILL ARENT USING IT!!! They all think Im mad - but who are the mad ones eh? I have converted my other half who was sure it was a scam and now my brother seems to be softening towards it...
What was really annoying is that just before I heard of it I got Sky - which was £70 back via them and I had just changed our life insurance with Legal & General which was quite a nice sum I seem to recall - now I dont do ANYTHING without checking out Quidco ;) . This site certainly is amazing and my bank balance is much better as a result.

Sorry to harp on - this is the vegas thread after all - but all you Vegas ites - check out quidco - it can make you extra money to spend when you get over there!!

  • Steff - I know what you mean about friends and family! I have been harping on for ages about money for nothing and did they listen

Now, all of a sudden they have 'discovered' it and have started going through there...they will never recoup the £800 I have had in the last 2 years though :D

Still trying to convert hubby - he is still a 'book over the phone' type so it could take a while!

If only they did more vegas related stuff on there we could all be earning a fortune :D

Anyway - back to Vegas - the best I can get for a fountain view room for 4, 5 & 6 September is $747 on the Bellagio website. Is there anywhere else that does good offers on Bellagio rooms?

Does priceline have bellagio rooms? Last time I tried it (back in 2005) I paid about £50 a night for 3 nights in the venetian.

The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Price line 5* hotels on teh North Strip are Palazzo Venitian and Trump and the THE hotel on South Strip.

I advise you to becareful with Bellagio codes as they do not allow other websites to advertise them so it may be if you find and use a code that you later find out that you code is not valid.
Its Vegas time -no longer :T a five year old has changed Vegas time to Orlando time
