Augustwe have been able to take advantage of some really juicy deals .
i was able to get £75 cashback on the cheapest car insurance quote i could find.my wife got £50
wife wanted a new mobile and we £140 from Vodaphone for a new contract
though my best has be the Betfair deal we had just before the Grand Nat.
£50 quidco cashback sign up after betting just £25 ( meaning you were £25 up no matter if the bet lost)
but befair gave you a free £25 match bet on top of that . i placed the two £25 bets on the 2 favorites a day or so before the race and the free bet was on Comply or Die @ 12-1 . i have not counted the £300 ish we won that day in with Quidco earnings.
sorry if this is off topic a bit , but if you don't how to use quidco , i suggest it is time you tried it .
Read through the instructions and I need some hol insurance for my Oct trip so I guess that will be my first purchase.0 -

MarchTechnically I believe it is illegal, but everybody does it and its accepted practice.
I can't see how it's illegal to store items purchased in a refrigerator in your room? what else would you do with the fridge?
I know in some hotels that have them, the mini-bar is a refrigerator - so it's stocked with stuff you have to pay if you use...it used to be that you could cram stuff that you bought yourself into the spaces that were left - though you weren't supposed to...but with most minibars now having sensors with the 'if you touch it you buy it' rule that's not really an option anymore.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
your kidding!!!! how can it be illegal if you buy a few beers and a bottle of snaps and drink them in your room. ha ha ha:beer:
Not kidding at all - its either a Clark county law or a Nevada State Law - its prohibited to consume alcohol from an off property source in your hotel room.
(a lot of references will also say its prohibited to simply bring the alcohol into your hotel room from an off property source! )0 -

The original question was "buy from a local store" - thats the difference
Its fine to buy from the hotel shops to store in your room, it is technically a no-no to buy it elsewhere.
As I've said before we stock up at Vons and the packed fridge usually has very little food in it.......
The other thing about the Sigs fridges is that the freezer compartment is pants and won't keep your ice-cream frozen!0 -
AugustCan you just walk to vons or is it too far?0
