    Thats per night.

Any chance of a $20 tip upgrade at the sig from junior to a one bedroom?

The $20 Trick does not work at MGM Grand or MGM Signatrure if any employee gets caught taking a bribe for an upgrade will recieve a reprimand, I have been told that this has now been extended to Mandalay Bay but I have not heard that from the horses mouth where as on the MGM Grand I have.
Its Vegas time -no longer :T a five year old has changed Vegas time to Orlando time

numerous posters on various forums would beg to differ. It may be company policy to reprimand employees caught upgrading, but they stilll do and the employees involved are quite open about it.

The darkest dismal corridor I've ever come across in an LV hotel! If I got a room down there I'd be gutted! It's a "short cut" to the strip via the west wing bar.

Is the short cut just the west wing walkway or is it more secret than even that? i.e past the mansion? And is the short cut the dankest corridor or the West wing rooms corridor?

Got to admit to getting a bit lost in the MGM last time we were there, the signs for the strip exit seemed to send us round in circles.

Booking the Sig. It is about £40 dearer for a "one-bedroom suite" than a "junior suite". Has anyone stayed in both? Is it worth the extra?

Well worth the difference. Two bathrooms (main one is huge), separate bedroom. Well worth the money.

Luxor is fine, dont get too excited by the inclinator its nothing special.

Totally agree...I was so excited about the inclinator and it was such a disappointment. Somehow I had it in my head that you could see out of it while moving...instead it was a really grubby lift with bolts missing from the inside panels that shook around a quite a lot more than ideal...and just so happened it went at an angle.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Wow, this thread is busy this afternoon!!

The West Wing shortcut is a dank dismal corridor and if I was given a room there i'd ask to be moved as it is used a lot!! But its very good for getting to the West Wing entrance without having to go through the casino. It goes from next to the high limit tables to the West Wing entrance.

As you have already been told - don't bother with trying to find a hotel until early next year.
