Possibly a silly question, but where is the sign? :embarasse
I'd like to get a photo of it when we go. Is it a cab ride to get to it?
Its on the way back to the airport (and Outlet Mall) at the bottom end of the trip - ask the cab to stop while you take photo or park your hire car outside one of the shops. Unless youre staying at Mandalay Bay, I wouldnt try walking.

Booking the Sig. It is about £40 dearer for a "one-bedroom suite" than a "junior suite". Has anyone stayed in both? Is it worth the extra?

Is that per night or in total for the stay?

Planet Hollywood for location, then Luxor for style/atmosphere (IMHO) then MGM - it always seems to big for me...never really wanted to stay there

PH. Luxor was OK and we used to like south strip, but PH much, much better location I think...have never wanted to stay at MGM as, like MyFathersDaugher, it's always seemed to big to me.

hmmm planet hollywood it seems is far too expensive for May 09, its like 300$ a nite..

other options now include excaliber or imperial palace but they are 3star :(

luxor was looking the most favourable...not bothered about the distance from the centre of strip as can hop on the bus :)

We have stayed in the Luxor and The Hotel at Mandalay Bay and I wouldn't rule either out...we walked up as far as New York New York without even thinking...you just get used to it! It is a different experience than staying further up but I always feel that the people staying further up miss out on the bottom of strip hotels. They are all linked so you just keep walking on through!

Have you considered the Monte Carlo for a good location but reasonable prices? It's not a flashy as some but I like it, it has a smaller, homely feel.
