    I wondered where it is and using google maps i found it

    long wided but

    go to google maps http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl

    -type in mandalay bay las vegas
    -south of manadalay bay is the bali hai golf club
    -straight over the road to the right there is an arch of aeroplanes (7) within the airport boundry curving to the right
    -if you zoom in you can see the road in between the planes and the golf club
    -the sign is on the green patch in the middle of the road

    There is no doubt an easier way this is just how i found it:rolleyes:

    South end of the strip. (The golden hotel in the photo is the Mandalay Bay.)
    Whether it's a cab ride to get to it depends on where you're starting from!

    too far (about 1.5 miles I'd guess with little of interest in between)! but it is on the way to one of the shopping malls ..or the Calloway driving range ..or Slugger Stadium if you fancy facing couple of fastballs!

    I'll be starting from here also. Had planned on going to the Shark Reef @ MB, so could always pop down that bit further to get a picture. Might wait 'til night time though and get one of it lit up.

    Google maps says it's 1.4 miles. Not far, but it will feel like a long way in the heat of summer.

    It is quite a long walk from MGM. We did it in feb and the weather was cool but we were baking by the time we got there. Worth the walk though.
