Anyone have info on how much it would cost at walmart for a small fridge. Staying at planetho this trip and want to keep some cold beers and wifes Skinny Cow chocolate milk, usually just keep filling up the ice bucket but noticed on our last trip to Flamingo that someone had a small fridge delivered to there room to rent. Wondered if it might be cheaper to buy one.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Just had a quick look on Walmart, there's one for about $62 which would probably do the job:

    http://www.walmart.com/search/search-ng.do?search_query=fridge&search_constraint=0&tab_value=45_All&ic=48_0&ref=&search_sort=4&selected_items=

EDIT: Not sure if that one will be OK for milk though, next ones up are about $79

Thanks Our first week we are staying at the MGM do you know if there's a Walgreen's near there?
There is a walgreens out the front of MGM. Follow the West Wing bar signs and go out the entrance there, that takes you almost directly on to the strip by the Grand Canyon tour place. turn right onto the strip and walgreens is on the right about 200 mtrs on. If you want a coffee there is a Starbucks in the food court before the coke bottle before walgreens.

look on www.mytravel.com then search for a "sun" holiday to las vegas . there is a fly drive option without hotels .

mytravel is the same as thomas cook .

That was coming out over £300 more expensive than the price we got by calling (I have been checking daily for the last few weeks whereas hubby took the more direct option of giving them a call)

Incidentally the flights (but not the fly drive option) came down again today another £80 to £440 per person

Edit: just checked again and the fly drive has gone down to £440 too...must stop looking now! Do you think that they will drop even further before Sunday?

 Changed our flights from Monday to Sunday as didn't want to take a chance on the baggage handlers strike not being called off. Booked at extra night at the MGM for the Sunday 24th August, and it cost $141! Ouch...
Does anyone know if I could cancel this 1 night booking (happy with the price we paid for the following 5 nights), and rebook using this offer. Also if this is possible, should I book first then cancel - hope that makes sense, long past my bedtime but totally addicted to this forum. Been trying to find the past reference to the donut shop and ice cream place and have failed miserably.
Thanks again for any help.

Donuts are over at the Excalibur :T

You can cancel your reservation using this page. https://reservations.mgmmirage.com/bookingengine.aspx?host=guestservices&pid=001

and you can apply for a players card if you dont have one using this page

    http://www.fatwallet.com/redirect/bounce.php?afsrc=1&url=https://www.playersclub.com/home/HomeWizard.asp?pt=nsignup

Make sure you read the terms and conditions on the offer page before cancelling though. Id book first then cancel. But you have up to 48 hours to cancel normally, unless the T&C's state otherwise.
