In 8 weeks I'll be there, as part of my honeymoon. Am getting very excited, although slightly worried about whether I have a machine readable passport - have made a note to check as soon as I get home!

We're only there for 4 days, staying in the MGM Sig, so trying to sort out an itinerary to make sure we can fit everything in.

Was thinking 8 weeks was a long time away and realised its the same week I go- . Cant wait

I missed out the most important thing that we want to do - have a gamble! Well, I do. The soon-to-be-Mrs Ingsy isn't too worried about that, she'd rather spend time people watching, which I imagine is fairly easy to do out there.

Hopefully we can get most of our stuff done. We land on the monday lunchtime and leave on the midnight flight thursday night, so I guess we've got 3 1/2 days there.

When / where do you fly from Oneil?

That sounds a pain! No trip report straight away, we'll be sunning ourselves in Jamaica for 11 days after leaving Vegas

I flew to Las Vegas with Virgin. It was great, the plane was a 747 and was empty. The Air hostess let us move seats to lay across them. I think she said that there was only about 60 people on the whole plane. As it was near christmas time she told us that the Virgin flight was not the only one going to Vegas on the day we left.

Personally, I thought they were great. The plane was Virgins older decor, but was comftable clean and working. I beleive tho now that the planes are being decked out with the new seats etc.

We stayed in Circus Circus hotel. Its one of the older ones on teh strip but was very exciting with all of its shows on the big top inside! Also its own adventure theme park! It had many resturants including a mcdonalds inside. The only thing the hotel lacks on is shops, it only has a few! But the hotel was a great price and a great hotel.

You will sure have a great time in vegas!!

each to their own, but having 4 seats to lie across does not give a typical view of what that flight will be like for most people . every time i have took it , it was fully booked , ............and very cramped !!!!

clean and working should be a basic requirement not a boast IMO (unless you are flying with ryanair :rotfl: ) . the in seat entertainment has been failing often , from others have reported .
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

Anyone have any experience of US Airways? Found a flight with them from LGW 1 stop via Charlotte for £387 each, seems about the best I can find travelling 7th Sept back on the 18th.

US Air are not the best but dont be put off they are far from the worse you may or may not get deat back TV's on the transatlantic but the food is fine and you get the same room as any other US carrier. The staff are excellent, my parents cam out US air in Septmeber and loved it. I would fly them beofre Virgin (probably) United is my airline of choice though
Its Vegas time -no longer :T a five year old has changed Vegas time to Orlando time
