OctoberFound an advert in a brochure i broght back offering either $300 or 2 free show tickets. Only catch is you have to goto a timeshare presentation! The number if anyone is interested is (702) 889 9002. I cant remember who it was, but i do remember someone on this thread saying they went to a presentation and got the free money. Don't think i'll bother myself when we go back, but you seasoned travellers prob all know this already.ACHIEVING THE AIM SINCE.........0

Has anyone used TMS or travel money services?
I ordered at 1.97 back in June/July and I'm so glad I did. I went with them after reading good reviews on this site, hope they work out okay... I'm supposed to get my money 10 days before I fly (in case of issues).
Anywhere to get nice lobster in Vegas? Not too pricey, mind.. this is MSE after all.
Have they started selling cider in the US yet??
Still not booked to helicopter flights... thinking of going with Papillion for price reasons. I just can't work out what the best trip to do would be. We want to avoid coaches but see the best part of the Canyon - hope their Grand Celebration Tour does this. Finding information about the exact schedule of the helicopter tours difficult to find. Do they pick you up from the hotel in a coach? Then where do they take you?
Less than a month to go...2016 diet challenge 16lbs/42lbs lost

Maywe run a small business where we get paid in U.S. cheques. we used to have to deposit these into our account and get charged a fee to change them into £'s, then change them back into $'s before our trip. We have just found a nice dollar deposit account with citibank, so we just put the cheques into there and draw the dollars out with an atm card when in vegas, saves worring what rate the $ is.
great for us as the business is what pays for our trips. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
MayNot been on the Canyon tours with Papillon but went on the 10minute strip flight... had a few questions myself and found them to be very good at responding when i sent them an email... might be worth dropping them a line for specifics
nice one on bagging a good exchange rate btw0 -

You can find these guys at most big hotels (usually they will find you as you enter by saying something about free tickets or gambling chips). We learned long ago to split up when we saw them as they mostly stop couples...and if we do get stopped, we say we're leaving that night.
I can understand why some people would do this if they had loads of time in Vegas and didn't mind giving up a good part of a day, and I'm sure most of them are OK...but have read of some that are really hard sell and get a bit nasty if you don't buy. One couple I'm sure said they were stranded at the show units for 4 hours waiting for their ride back to the strip (edited to add my husband just said that he read of a couple being stranded for 6 hours). So I'm wary of them myself...but again, if you've got time to spare and want some time away from the glitz and whatever they are offering you is worth your time, then it's certainly an option.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Hi guys,
We're heading back to Vegas in March - 11th - 18th.
I know it's way too early to get a really good deal but I was wondering what you thought of Caesars Palace @ $1600 for a Classic Room the week?
I've been checking the prices regularly on the Harrahs site at it was up as high as $300 a night the last time I checked.
Cheers0
