Hi Iain,

If i was good with the pen i would certainly post but i type so slow and so painfully but must post some thoughts in part payment for all the help all you MSE's have given me.

(By the way am at about 35% through and just entering (VIRGINGATE), this feels like a challange to complete it now GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

On a personal note Ty Iain, I have just received the pressie you sent and will come up with some way to pay it forward, not only for the actual value of the item but more importantly for the fact that you do care and do really want to help. So again thanks very much.

Hi all,

I've booked a couple of nights at THEhotel at Mandalay bay and included is $300 of Mandalay place certificates.

I can't find any details on what this would be - I'm assuming money off vouchers for spa, restaurants etc but if anyone knows for sure could you enlighten me?

No problems, like to help out where i can, speaking of which......

The Wynn buffet offer I believe is still there but the points you need to earn has gone up (maybe somebody else can confirm this). We made our points up playing on the slots as we enjoy that anyway, from memory Top Gun nd Wizard of OZ (I was on Top Gun!!) and was well worht the time we spent there. The buffet was incredible, I think i'm still working off those extra pounds!!

The casinos are open to the public - there are no memberships. The players clubs are free to join and there are no obligations - they are like a Tesco or Sainsburys loyalty card as someone has said before...there are benefits for joining

You don't HAVE to sign up for a player's card but it is to your advantage if you are going to do any gambling. It's the way the casino tracks your play to give comps and cheaper rooms. There are no obligations as far as I'm aware. Often new sign ups get coupon books, a t shirt or other souvenir. Some of them give you free play to get you started on the slot machines.

Mall location seems a little confusing, south end north end, PH market place (mircle mile), are these easy to locate whist moouching around the strip?

Buffet. Wynn freebie if trick is still on but queues always large, PH (SM), seems to get constant good reviews, Rio buffet seafood poor??, Good buffet PHm Bellagio, Wynn, Ti, MirageParis, Bad Flam, IP Sahara, Rio....

Don't chase comps.

Historically the promo has been all over the place but it's been the same (25 for 1, 50 for 2 buffets) for several months. Will be interesting to see if it goes back to that or if those days are over.
