I had trouble lining my eyes up as well.....OH and daughter did it straight away....I recon its coz I'm a short !!!!
I just read on the instructions for using IRIS. when you enter the booth keep still, do not move around trying to look into the different lenses, the machine determines by your size which one you should use, that about explains why OH has trouble, as soon as she gets in she starts trying to look into different ones.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Check-in because then they don't lose out on the extra income for those who would have booked and paid for the upgrade.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I think you are talking about the Caxton FX prepaid card as they were the only ones offering $2 to the pound. I think its a pretty great idea.

Did you have any problems using it - reviews ( Caxton Card Review) seem to suggest that travel cards are the way to go.

Going Places were offering $2 to the £ on all currency at the time, we didn't have any issues using it, we didnt use it for purchases though just to get cash out. we got two cards with two separate PINS, if we lost one we had the second as back up. I nipped into GP over the weekend, they still offer them, so Im gonna have to look into the details a little further

    TangoBunny,

Don't forget that if you go direct from Gatwick you can twilight check in the night before and dump your bags on Virgin if that makes your choice any easier.

Stew (also from South Wales by the way!!)

you can twilight check in with BMI @ Manchester also . very worth doing IMO. i recommend Bewleys @ manchester airport for the night before. close , clean , comfortable and good value. can only booked direct with Bewleys though .
thanks for that - although 150 pounds for a helicopter ride seems steep - im not sure how much it will be worth it.Today 2:08 PM

in 10 years your £150 will be forgotten but the memory of the Grand Canyon will last a lifetime. worth every penny IMO
