or try dial a flight , airline network or any of the airlines websites direct. it is aslo probably a good idea to buy the newspapers when the they have there travel suppliments in , you can often some good deals advertised in them.

    good luck ;)
I tried dial a flight last week, i have used them a good few years ago without any problems, I phoned them (dont forget to look for a geographical number) because when I searched for an LA return flight next march it came up as £359 or thereabouts inc taxes and charges...BUT on the phone the cheapest they could do was around £500, I questioned the web price (which he confirmed was there cause he could see it to) and all he could say was prices are changing so fast the website cant keep up!!!!??????

    Hi,
Just to put your mind at rest - last year me and my partner were in Vegas in July and it topped out at 112 degrees I think. Think it was some sort of record, so there is NO WAY it will reach 150. Trets has a temperature chart in page one of this thread that gives you more of an indication.

Definately cancel - £35 fee is nothing compared to the saving you will make and from what I read the difference in quality of accommodation.
    Good Luck!!
    S;)

thanks steff. we've gone ahead and cancelled the luxor and booked venetian belle. its 20$ more than the standard one they're advertising as 105$ but i assume the base rate of 105$ will be adjusted up/down accordingly and the additional 20$ will remain fixed. 3 1/2 weeks left...cannot wait!

quick question for anyone that can help.

Non-confirmed rates are subject to change without notice.

this is what it says in the t&cs of the venetian offer
    http://www.venetian.com/EVO0608.aspx?EMC-EVO0608

can anyone confirm how this will affect my booking please. thanks

Some good sale fares from London or Manchester - especially the fares to LA and NYC for those who want a stop before or after or who would be willing to sort out internal flights separately.

I've been watching and not posting much for the last few months, heading off to Vegas on Wednesday for a fortnight at the MGM with Thomas Cook (booked with MyTravel before takeover)

I kept an eye on the first direct flight from Glasgow (4 per summer) last Wednesday - It comes from Manchester (as other posters have suggested in Previous years).

Don't think I got a bad deal at £2300 for a fortnight (2 people), direct flights, extra leg room.

Cheers to trets and all the other guys for the info they post, will make the most of our trip.

(As an aside, anyone in the "young" category may be interested in a big club night at Body English / Hard Rock Hotel on 2nd July - Above and Beyond are DJ'ing, currently ranked 6th in the world (of Dance music))

The night at Bellagio with the lakeview room will be unforgettable once again (I hope :D)

I think it's related to the temperature promo - because the rate isn't yet determined. That line doesn't appear in the T&Cs of bookings for standard rate rooms.

i suppose they mean they will adjust it according to the temperature . it is a weird one this as i notice that it has just appeared on Fatwallet that it is a no refund offer no change offer :o .

this is a first for the Venetian but so is $100 room rate  . best i can ever remember seeing in the past was $160 mark.

if it were me and the temperature rate was available for my dates i would book it. The Venetain isn't the sort of place to pull a fast one, not if it wants the customers taking advantage of this offer back. i would not worry personally .
Hey Guys, I'm going to Vegas next week for a few nights, getting married and onto touring Arizona for a few weeks. Can anyone recommend a good restraunt for after my wedding want something nice but not too pricey and not too pretentious there will be 4 of us.

Mon Ami Gabi @ Paris provides about the only place you can eat al fresco and watch the strip roll by. i know Ferf has spoke highley about it and has a you tube video of it . you can also see the Bellagio fountains from there . a reservation ( with that it is a wedding diner casually dropped in the conversation at somepoint ) would be a very wise move IMO

would be the sort of place i would choose if it were me.we only had a sandwich there but it was nice

Ah, bummer...looks like they aren't repeating last summer's $50 tickets for all shows except O.

Still, a decent deal for Ka, Zumanity and Mystere.

I totally agree - though you cannot reserve the patio as it's first come first serve, and I'm not 100% sure I would want to eat outside in the June heat - but if the temperature is bearable I think the patio is a wonderful place to have a meal that is not too expensive nor too pretentious...if you go to the restaurant they will give you a buzzer which will light up and buzz when your table is ready. We haven't eaten inside as the patio is part of what makes the place special to us - but the food is good and decent value, inside or out. Edited to add that you can make reservations to sit inside - just not on the patio.
