Re: Timeshare Salesman, i advise using one of the following excuses

    1) We're late meeting my parents / friends
    2) We're late for a booking at a ******* restaurant
    3) It's our last day so we're in a bit of a rush

They always start with an open-ended question so it's difficult for you to respond with a 'yes' / 'no' to end the conversation, but usually number (1) works a treat for most situations :)

    Welcome back.

It seems that everyone (well most) on here now has suffered the pain in the a**e of the seats on that virgin flight. I wrote to customer services and got a reply which almost accused me of lying and that it cant be right as no else has complained. I then wrote to the CEO and got no reply!!!!!!!!!!

I dont know what to do next year. Firstly the prices are putting me off and then I cant decide wether to go indirect..who has the most comfortable economy seats? or give Virgin some more of my hard earned (grudgingly) and use the LA route, which I have used before and is much better as we all know.

I will not fly Virgin economy the you get laods of stag nights etc the seats are uncomftable and the stewardesses about 154 and rude, though the food and entertainment much better than most. We allways fly United now and where possible via LAX or SFO so the short flight is very short, we have paid $350 per year(for two) to get upgrades at time of booking to Ecomony plus, great value same seat same service but 5" of extra legroom, the films are crap and the food filling an edible but not good and you pay fo booze but this is my prefernce since MaxJet has gone bust.

unfortunalty I never ever have hte ability to be that polite to people who stop me in the street. If I am walking I will walk out of peoples way to avoid bumping into them, so I see it that if someone is trying to stand in front of me, they must be trying to get me to stop, which in turn means they are probably trying to sell me something. I keep walking straight if i was to bump into them I apologise (after all it would be my fault) if I dont i keep walking (strangly since I started using this method I have never bumped into anyone)
I know its not the politest thing to do and that they are only doing a job, BUT im on holiday Im spending my hard earned cash and I dont want to be given grief everywhere I go.

George Michael concert was great last night at MGM, just off to Fashion Show Mall before it gets too hot out there
Just booked another weekend here at the Venetian for July, promotion depends on the temperature on the day you are staying. Provisionally booked at $105 per night but they go by the actual weather reading taken on the day, so it may go up a little.
    108f outside today

i was looking at this offer - whats the max the temp can reach in vegas during july time? it doesn't get crazy like 150 degrees does it?

i booked at luxor but via expedia but found i can cancel for 35£ fee. might go for the venetian and get a much better room at a better hotel for similar price! thanks in advance

I had one timeshare salesman outside the Monte Carlo running after me shouting "Liverpool, hey Liverpool wait up" I had a Liverpool FC football shirt on. I don't like the way they try and disguise themselves as tourist information either.

I've given up with Virgin...uncomfortable seats and if you're really unlucky a rampaging stag party f-ing and blinding all over the cabin.
I now get better miles deals and usually a free upgrade to first for the domestic leg with AA instead-and get to stretch my legs and get some fresh air half way-and all for at least £100 cheaper.
AA is more comfortable but no airline has comfortable economy seats-it's all a matter of degree.

I had forgotten the stag partys, we had one sitting behind us on the way out f- ing all the way.

From various replys it seems tha northwest, AA and United are all more comfortable than Virgin in economy, Are we all comparing economy seats though? I cannot afford to fly in any other class. Maybe that is what the next poll should be .Who has the best (most comfortable) economy seats on transatlantic flights?
