MayHi all,
Can someone please tell me the best place to buy Sim cards (possibly pre-loaded ones) in Las Vegas? We are staying at The Orleans for first half of trip, so somewhere near there or on the strip itselfused it a couple of times now and it's been great...
the only problem we did have, is that they use 'recycled' numbers, so we kept getting text, voicemail and phone calls for the previous user... just started ignoring them (cos you get charged for making and receiving calls on US mobile networks so i wasn't paying for the privelege of a wrong number!)0 -

i finished a poor 105.
had about 3 hands in an hour that were worth playing, and even when i hit a decent straight i still got done by a fluke of a hand.
in the end i was getting eaten by the blinds and went in on a mid pair and got done0 -

The forecasted high temperature* in Las Vegas is your rate . so if it is usually 104 on a day you pay that.Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -

That happened once. I did answer it, but soon cut them off. I'm planning on sending my SIM to a mate in USA so that he can keep it active for my next trip in November.
If that course isn't available, they do give 25% discount on another number. If there is a few of us with these sims it may be worth getting a system going to keep them active. Just a thought. Probably not practical, since they aren't that expensive anyway. Always looking to save a few bob though.;)0 -
hi, me and some friends are going to vegas for 5 nights in mid july (followed by LA) and i have just stumbled across this thread now...post booking a room at the luxor! imagine my shock when i find out i can stay in the venetian or mgm grand for just as much!
from reading some posts it appears some people have been to vegas numerous times...just wondering if anyone has ever boooked a room for 2 people with 2 queen beds when theres actually going to be 3 of you staying. whats the likelihood of getting caught as this makes a 200$ difference to the venetian price based on the temperature deal. http://www.venetian.com/EVO0608.aspx?EMC-EVO0608
