    Thanks Trets,

Im new to all this world travel,so whats best way to get BMI points? Also, is it worth getting a parlour suite or should i try the $20trick?(does it actually work though?)

The $20 trick works not allways but it does work as long as you book the lowest level of room that you are prepared to stay it its worth a go. I actually think its the longer you are staying rather than the level of the resort $20 has worked for me in Wynn and Caesers just as well as Excalibur and Luxor.

agreed length of stay is a big factor , but i doubt there are any horrible rooms at the Wynn or Encore . that said, from checking it out a Parlour suite is near the top of the list in terms of price , so i doubt $20 trick would work from a resort room start.

The Wynn is a bloody expensive place , far too upmarket for me to stay there. that said i have seen a show there the last 3 trips, go figure . If Le Reve is still playing when you visit i very highly recommend it

... the chick in La Reve is well tasty :D;)

we went for the VIP in the end Trets - was well worth the cash just to have the TV's to see them swimming about under the water, and leaping out of the ceiling :) -- took away the element of *how the hell did they do that* (which i think some people like but really bugs me!!!) :D

will get round to posting a trip report soon! :)

lol that was me . the main female character ( very attractive in that expensive red dress that she wears i agree ;) ) dissapears under the water at the start and does not reappear again for a while , so you were thinking either she can hold her breath for a impossibly long time or there is a chamber under the stage where they swim too.

It really is a maginficent show , one that is grown up with a fairytale type story you can actually follow ( unlike Mystere) and has specatular stunts as well. it is definatly a show that stays with you after the performance.

looking forward to your trip report. also meant to say "sorry about the virus" to Stoneman after his trip

Hi - just a quick note to say:

    ORIGIN INDIA is so great!!

Went last night...awesome...and with athe $25 voucher from restaurant.com it was good value...2 appetizers, 2 mains, 2 drinks - $60 including tip (tip was added as per terms of voucher - 18% or so I think).

OK, not as cheap as our local takeaway, but miles better...I really, really wanted to try this desert I had heard about with beets (it sounded odd but read repeatedly that it was so great) but was stuffed to the gills by that point and just couldn't eat another bite.

Highly, highly recommended...it will be hard to settle for our local stuff now. :)

Pebbles - did I read you say that Tony got the dreaded tomato salmonella? I'm really sorry to hear that - how awful. Hope he's feeling better now

And stoneman - sorry to hear about your illness as well...never nice to be sick on holiday.

So far all I can complain about is a blinding headache I cannot shake (probably dehydration, I know) and the slots that are murdering me...but still...we're in Vegas so cannot complain too much. :)
