Anyone found any more bargain dates on the Delta site?0
-
I can't find anything cheaper than $537 from Manchester or Gatwick at Delta and that is before taxes otherwise I would book up for myself again.0

can anyone help me book a holiday to Las Vegas. We could go out of Dublin or even out of London or Manchester with an overnight stay if it was cheaper.I have never been to usa and not sure how to do it.we could go any date in May after 15th up to mid June. we would love to stay in Cesars palace or Planet holywood or Paris or New York or anywhere else that looks as good. can anyone advise mw how to do this.we are going for 1 week 4 adults ( 2 couples )0

Have a look at the MGM SIGNATURE (not the MGM Grand)0

Its worth looking at Virgin Altantic prices and emailing hotels for prices and availability.
Caesars will be expensive - I've stayed at Luxor couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed it. Booked direct with them. Did go in June once and not again as it was 126 degrees! Just a bit too hot for me:D
Alternatively, look and see packages with Virgin holidays and the like - and compare a package with doing separate bookings.
The airport is very close to strip, so getting a cab there won't be a problem - bit of a queue maybe, but not that bad. Obviously hotels off the strip are cheaper. But if you can afford it, strip is better.
New york New york seemed to me to be full of children - as you are two couples going, you may want to avoid that, Circus Circus too.
I love Vegas, its mental but great! Take comfy shoes for walking!Genie

Harvey,
Also have a look at Trets sticky post about Vegas at the top of the travel forum. His first post has more useful information than you would find in a travel book!! He also keeps you up to date with the latest offers at the end of his posts. I managed to get a good deal with MGM because of him, my room wasn't available for the whole of my stay originally.0 -

Nothing like a bit of exaggeration! Highest ever recorded temperature in Vegas is below 120, though places like Laughlin have occasionally gone over 120.0 -
Actually, now I come to think of it - it was 116! Ooops sorry:o
Still hot tho!! But the air conditioning helped alot and the lovely swimming pools!Genie
