    Hi,

Can you tell me the where to get the best deal on the Luxor?

We looking to go a few nights in July, I was looking at the MVP offer but seen you mentioned an even lower rate.

Would I be better off hanging off for a few months before booking - will the prices come down?

1st trip to Vegas so we're just trying to find our feet.

    Thanks
On page 1 of this thread Tretts has written out a list of sites that give the best offers.
We use Fat wallet and the last one on the list.
Also you will find that Tretts posts the best on here virtually every other day. {he's not a lot of good tho could not get me Wynns for 2/6p:rotfl: ]
Before taking the no refund offer wait and see what comes along, but saying that it is a good offer.
    Good hunting.

We are going to Vegas for 12 nights at the end of April. I have the 2 weekends booked at the IP cos it's cheap.

Was hoping to stay at PH for 5 nights and either the Bellagio or Venetian for the last 2 nights, depending on offers.

No offers out yet for PH so I have booked 5 nights at the Bellagio for $179/169.

Tonight I have booked one of the MGM 3 for 2 offers at $69 with $25 restaurant credit. Only for 4 nights though as the 5th night was going to cost $190 for a Thursday!!! Might extend the IP to cover that Thursday, but will keep looking for other MGM offers which extend into the beginning of May.

We got the Venetian for $119 a year ago, but doubt I'll see that rate again.

it only seems that MGM group casinos are rolling out these NO REFUND offers. there have been 2 new MGM Grand offers posted on Fatwallet today that are no refund , as well as 2 New york New York deals that expire tomorrow and sunday and a Exaclibur offer that expires tomorrow after being posted today   .
    it worth mentioning to

    A) check the T&C to be sure that your offer is not a no refund .Fatwallet ect always seem to highlight this fact , but one might get through one day.they always seem to be clearly advertised on the offers booking page.

    B) be on the Ball and make daily checks if you can if your dates are coming up.

also http://www.vegas-promotions.com/ has not updated for over 2 weeks now :confused::confused:

i'm only finding Fatwallet of any use for offers this week .

and the only one worth posting today , the link isn't bloody working     i will post it up as soon as it is , check fatwallet to see if it is back up in the mean time. here are details

    Planet Hollywood from $79
from Fatwallet . 2 night stay min . stays until 31.3.08. limited time offer ( no published expire date)

Thanks for the info - I thought I was missing out on something there.

It seems all the offers at present expire at the end of April, should I wait a bit then to see if the prices come down or if offers on other gotel come along?

    Many thanks

have posted a lot in the last week or so...not sure if they are the same deals that have previously been posted on vegas-promotions or not but may be worth looking into.

There's what looks to be a pretty good Luxor deal listed there but may be one of the ones Trets has already posted.
As for the no refund offers, I think they are a bit sneaky...most people booking rooms in most cities in the US expect to be able to cancel up to 72 hours or so before without penalty...I totally agree that everyone should always read the T&Cs before booking, but wonder how many have been caught out?

It seems like a bit of an experiment to me - possibly due to so many people doing exactly what we do - book and cancel if a better deal comes along.

Like anything if MGM group finds it works, I can see other hotel groups following along.

    Here's hoping it's a complete failure. :)

Summer months are generally relatively inexpensive month for hotels in Vegas though obviously there will be exceptions for certain periods...if I were you, I would start looking at rates now and get an idea what you would be happy to pay based on that information. It's too early for July deals yet but chances are that they will come. You can check the archives at www.vegashotelspecial.com or the other sites to get an idea when July offers started popping up last year. My guess is that you'll start to see some in March with loads popping up by April.

If you see something now that you are happy with, provided that it's direct with the hotel and not on a 'no refund' offer, if it makes you feel better you can book it and cancel later if you find something better. Sometimes it's nice to have a back-up plan in place early on as it's less stressful to keep looking...you know your worst case scenario cost early on.

For Wynn, if you go to their site and give them your details (name, address, email, etc.) they'll probably send you an offer by email...I signed up with nothing to match me to my players club card and the next day had an email offering me $199 weeknight rate with a $100 resort credit...by my maths, that brings the room rate down to $99/night if you only stay 1 night (I know, I know - it's somewhat questionable justification, but still). :) The regular rate on their website for the dates I checked ranged from $239-$349...so I think $199 with a $100 credit for food is a decent deal.

    Go to http://www.wynnlasvegas.com/

Then in the upper right hand corner click sign-up.

I'm sure the offer is probably also available on fatwallet, but it's nice getting an email from Wynn. :)

I will be there on the 20th march and looking like my first 3 days will be at MGM (3nights for price of 2) I have stayed there before, the rooms are good but the hotel is a bit big, well more than a bit big, over 5000 rooms it takes so long to get anywhere.

Stayed at PH when it was Alladin great position and if you can get a resort room for a $20 tip (we did) overlooking the Bellagio fountains, you would love it.

Havent stayed at TI but good reports.

If you want to be centre strip prob avoid IP unless you can get it mega cheap ( I have a res there for $59 a night towards the end of my trip) apart from the IP you would not be disappointed with any of the strip hotels in that area (at the right price).

Have looked on Opodo and can get package of direct flights from Manchester 16 March, staying in Planet Hollywood, 7 nights for £753.00 per person. Is this cheap?

The direct flights from Manchester to Vegas with BMI are £513.

I would say that looks OK..If you def want to stay at PH you have £480 to spend on a hotel, the cheapest i can find PH for your 7 nights is about $1200 just over $200 more than you would be getting it for and you are getting transfers.

    hello
can anyone tell me if NY NY have fridges in there rooms, there is no mention of them on there website in any of the rooms.
we are in a skyline room and wondered where abouts in the hotel these rooms are located and also is it worth trying the $20 trick here for an upgrade.
    thanks
