4th November to 3rd December. Tony hates short trips, (Can you tell?) It'll be our first time flying out of Manchester with BMI. I haven't got any hotels lined up yet, too early for that.

I would have thought for that length of stay renting a house would be cheaper. We went for 3 weeks in Dec-Jan and rented a lovely house in Summerlin for $1,500. With all the repossessions going on house rental prices are cheap as chips at the moment. but then, I guess most people prefer to stay around the strip.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Just to add to this comment! Check out VRBO, they have quite a few Signature properties on their listings. You might be able to negotiate a really good deal for your trip...

Thanks for the suggestion. We might look in to renting a house, but we really don't mind moving around a bit to get a good deal. I'll let you know what I come up with. Off to look at that site now.

My Travel / Thomas cook flights

    21/5/08 7 nights = £300 14 nights = £430

    25/5/08 14 nights = £272

    28/5/08 14 nights = £650

    1/6/08 7 nights = £326 14 nights =£351

    4/6/08 7 nights = £497 14 nights = £574

as predicted the prices are looking like they will be much higher now June is upon us.
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

Are those prices including a room? I tried the mytravel site and it seemed to be saying it was but with no details. Seems ludicrously cheap.

They are the flight only prices. Don't think there are rooms available at short notice.

    It's strange, it says this:

    our total quote £254.00
    Amount due today £254.00

    Full price breakdown

    Las Vegas Fly Drive Airtours
    Las Vegas Fly Drive,
    Las Vegas, Uk0

    Operator: Airtours Late Holidays
    Hotel rating:
    Board basis: Fly Drive
    Room type: 1 x
    Arrival: 25-May-2008
    Departure: 08-Jun-2008

    Thomas Cook Airlines

And if you confirm a room option it comes up with the same.

The give away is the board basis = flydrive

I think it would say something after the 1x if there was a room included - i.e. 1 x double or something similar.

There's nothing in the hotel rating section either.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
