Another vote here for the Wynn buffet. We went twice (once on a fri) and queued no longer than 10 minutes at around 7pm. They were both cheap/free, I prob wouldnt pay full price, but I thought the food was excellent, the asparagus was fantastic along with the rack of lamb.

I dont eat the Crab legs anymore in Vegas (that everyone craves for) I have tried tham almost everywhere and they are nearly always still slightly frozen and dont have that much taste. It maybe that I am spoilt coming from Norfolk and been brought up on FRESH cromer crabs....VERY TASTY.

If you read back a few posts ..the ones that are metinoed here have all been gotten with a new players club card at Wynn..25 points for one free buffet,

If you search for wynn buffet on this thread you will find the posts.

Or look on Openvegas or vegasmessageboard

Also I have mentioned in the past..I have never paid full price for a buffet I always have enough 2 for 1 coupons from the AGC or LVA

Last time in Vegas I was that disappointed with the Virgin flight after hearing many good things about their planes on other routes, I bought a PSP and a selection of movies to watch on the plane on the way back. The return journey was much more enjoyable than the way there!

Out of curiosity, how long did the PSP's battery last? Just curious since we are thinking of getting one PSP and taking it with us. We already have a ds lite, so one of us will have entertainment for the flight.

    Hi
Went to the Gun Store last November and it was great fun. I shot a .44 Magnum (and it DID make my day!) also fired a machine gun (wow)
I can't remember exact prices but I recall it wasn't that cheap :embarasse
I think the Magnum was $30 to hire and 20 shells were $20
I will ask my brother who was with me and if these figures are wildly out I will re-post.
We went on a morning (11'ish) and the only people in there were British! A guy behind me had just fired an AK47 and was about to have a go with what can only be described as a cannon!
Great fun, highly recommended even if only for a once in a lifetime experience.
(I WAS Dirty Harry for a brief moment!):D

Is it possible then to hire a gun? Is there a firing range to try it out? Not that I am interested, but I showed your post to my OH and he seems to want to be Dirty Harry for a few minutes as well :D What's up with guys and guns ??

I bought an extra capacity battery, so I had that as well as the standard battery. With both batteries we had about 8 hours of constant use (a mixture of games and movies). We still had battery life when landing after a ten hour flight.

Disclaimer: I juts got back from a few days away and I see all of these interesting posts, so sorry if I am flooding the thread with questions... I might collate them later.

I booked the MGM for $89 and now it is $69. Is it better to call them to try and haggle or cancel the other reservation and book a new one?
edit: juts noticed this is a player's card offer. Has anyone followed the advice on fatwallet, signed up for the card, collected it on arrival and then checked-in?

    TIA

    Thanks dan28!!

It's a gun shop with an indoor shooting range. Anyone can hire a gun from them and shoot a few rounds there. They have a masdive selection of guns to choose from. They are tourist friendly but unfortunately only locals can buy a gun :)
