it's always a 1st time vistors mistake to think that the casino they are heading too is walkable , because it looks so close.
well apparently it's not just the size of the places that helps create this illusion

I only made the mistake of walking the first time I went, that is an intersing article.0 -
JulyWe'll be in Vegas the same time then, don't know why but I'm always shocked to find that I'm not the only Brit in Vegas when I'm over there. Dispite traveling to Vegas in a plane from Manchester!:D
40 days to go...
Have a good time.
Thanks a lot!! Im sure I will - it will be my third trip to Vegas and I adore the place.
Have you been before in June/July? Last year it topped 112 degrees - fantastic! Where are you staying - did you get a good deal?
Steff;):hello:My name is Steff and I am a Vegas Addict :j0 -

Steff;)
This'll be my fourth visit, been before twice in April and once in September. Little worried about the heat to be honest, the OH is hoping to tan, I'm just expecting us to burn! Might just try to stay in the casino as much as possible.

Stayed at Bellagio last time in a lake view room, in the Signature this time round in a one bedroom suite. Was really looking forward to the hotel, heard some mixed reviews around recently though about cleanliness of some of the rooms. Keeping my fingers crossed that it'll be a good experience.
The next few weeks better go fast, friends that haven't been before are starting to get annoyed with the constant excitement about Vegas - they just don't get it!
Where are you staying? Did you get a good deal on 14 days? Starting to wish I'd booked that myself now but got a wedding to go to on the 5 July so had to be back in time.

You have every right to be worried. The Signature has fallen from #1 ranked hotel in Vegas to #2 in the last few months. Just as well you are not staying in one of the other 250 lower ranked hotels.0 -
OctoberCan I ask a question about the Virgin Money+ miles
I have just over 5000 miles from last years flights......this gives us just over £70 off each of our flights for next year.If I buy more miles up to how many can I use for each flight....ie how many more would I need to buy to get the tickets for say half price??:hello: LORRAINE :hello:0 -

As far as I know if you are looking at ecomony fares, 2000 miles gets you the miles plus money fares. If you have more miles to use, you could look at miles plus money fares in higher classes (premium economy (7,500 miles) or upper (no idea as we've never looked)), or could look to use miles to pay for the entire economy flight (I think 50,000?)...but there's no other option...so buying more miles won't get you a further price reduction for economy unless you have enough to buy the ticket outright with miles.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
OctoberMy god that's confusing....I wrongly assumed I could buy more and get a bigger discount:hello: LORRAINE :hello:0
