Just had this email from travelzoo, seems like a fairly good offer with the extras.

    £55 -- 4-Star Las Vegas Planet Hollywood Hotel w/Extras* newnew.gif

    Las Vegas, NV
Top 20 deal - sells out quickly!
    Travel dates: Until 11 September
    By Ben Jennings
    Travelzoo Staff
If you book by 21 May, you can stay at the 4-star Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino for £55 (US$108) per night and get almost £50 (US$90) worth of added extras, including:
    • US$50 resort credit
    • US$40 gaming bonus (for new a-list casino club members)
    • 2 FREE Spice Market Buffet tickets (after accumulating 100 a-list points)
This resort, located in the middle of The Strip, can cost over £80 (US$164) or more without any extras.
There are too many dates at £55 (US$108) to list here, as there are more than 30 Sunday-Thursday dates available until 11 September. Other dates start at just £60 (US$119).

The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

the semi-colon and question mark are part of the link, but this board is not making them part of the link when you click...so if you add ;? to the end of the link it will work.

Yes, you get full millage because this route is a code share

Any rough ideas how many miles this route will add up to? Belfast - New York, New York - San Fran. Then Vegas - New York, New York - Belfast.

We want to use our Virgin miles to fly home in Upper next year, so im trying to calculate how many we need or need to buy. Im aware that Vegas and back is around 10,000, but im totally confused about New York and San Francisco.

    London....

Another jealous one here! It's one of the things that makes me wish we'd chosen to live in the US instead of here - easy access to weekend trips to Vegas.

I admire anyone who can deal with that flight for a few days though...I don't think I could do it.

Guys Im staying in the stratosphere when I go, does anybody know how much it would cost to make a call back to a UK landline from here?? I would use my Laptop but apparently theres no wireless in the hotel!

I don't know how much it would be to call from your hotel room, but it will be quite a lot per minute. Stop at CVS or Walgreens on the Strip and buy a calling card...much better value. Some hotels sell them from vending machines but the rates are terrible...though if you only want to make a few quick calls they might be an option as you can sometimes find lower value cards in the machines. The ones we have bought at CVS/Walgreens have been good for a year (I think)...the last one we bought from a hotel vending machine (Excalibur, years ago) was good for 90 days.
