Morning all xx
First day off. I'm exhausted. So I was up at six! Of course I was. Who'd want to spend their first morning off having a lie in? ME! That's who. But bad dreams and well ready to get up for a brew by six. So here I am.
I'm up, made my bed, completed Wordle in 2 (woot woot), failed at Connections (only managed two lines), and I've supped my first brew.
Planning a very lazy day today: hoping to gather up some spoons ready for the rest of the week as I'm feeling seriously depleted. British Grand Prix Practice sessions. Wimbledon. TDF time trial today too. Spoilt for choice.
I will do something today....brew 2 first.
Have a good day.

Brew 2 supped. Breakfast eaten. Got dressed. Birds fed. Birdbath refilled. Can recycled.
Going to read now. May do something later, may not. It depends which way the wind blows 😂. Speaking of which the sun is shining but there's a very chilly wind blowing. Very refreshing. Preferable to being twot!

Hello all. Hope you're all well.
An update from me. Yesterday as well as paid stuff I mopped floors downstairs, got rid of cobwebs in living room, did dailies, dog walk, voted and took part in a sports match and lost.
Todat, I have done paid stuff, walked Poppet, done one wash which is now dry and away, and I've cut grass back and front.Spend less now, work less later.5 -
Scuse me. Have you all gone somewhere else and forgotten to tell me about it?
Valli - are you OK only I notice we didn't get a list for today.
I'm soooo lonely here.....😭

I'm here, round - just haven't done any flying to report today, apart from absolute basics.
Last night I went to bed before midnight and got up at about 7 this morning. Dh got up when I started banging around in the kitchen at 8.30, getting breakfast, but he went back to bed soon after because he hadn't gone to bed until 4. Then of course he was as about as much use as a chocolate teapot until lunch "miraculously" appeared on the table at 1.30, at which point he emerged from under his duvet. Of course he had enough energy to go out this evening to play war games. He's planning to take himself off to a bus rally tomorrow...
I carted the two arrangements to the flower show, then came home to SOFA. My aches and pains were probably being caused by the cold front heralding the rain that started here late this afternoon. I hate this weather - not a proper summer (though equally I can't cope with too much heat). Rosie doesn't think much of it either.
I'm about to close down my computer, fetch my tea things, take my nighttime meds including more parrots, and then settle down to read in bed for a short while.
Sleep well, everyone xxx5 -

Have a good weekend everyone. I'm not focusing on the theatre trip I should have been on tomorrow but just on Mr N who is coming to stay, yippee.Absolutely, yes, caring is flying. And it's a lot tougher than dusting. The only reason I haven't posted is that I haven't flown today. Got in a t 5.30am and got to bed at 6.00 but couldn't sleep. I think I will tonight.Did nothing today other than go out to get fish and chips for five of us.
Better is good enough.4 -
Ooh Round don't feel lonely, I am here, just plodding along with not much to report xx
I washed our bedroom curtains yesterday because they were grubby. Despite washing at 20 on delicate and drying outside they have shrunk so the curtains are now about 4 inches shorter than the lining. The label says they can be washed at 40 degrees so it's a good job I didn't do that! I have put them back up because I don't have spares. DH hasn't even noticed.
Going to a short volunteering session at 9am then everywhere needs a bit of a tidy, windows need cleaning, bathroom needs a good scrub and there is clean washing to put away.
Not sure what else is planned for today, DH is suffering with pain and fatigue so probably won't be up to doing much.
I really should get in the shower and wash my hair before I go out..5 -
Morning all.
YSL how annoying about the curtains. Can you take the lining up?
Today apart from dailies and dog walking I'm going to a flower festival and taking some cakes I baked yesterday. Other plans were a bit of gardening which now may be rained off and watching football.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.5 -
Morning my lovelies xx 😘
Im up (20 past 6 🤦♀️), made my bed, supped a brew, completed Wordle and Connections, and been scrolling through FB...videos of cows hoof trimming, mud larking and magnet fishing mostly. Time wasting of the first order methinks.
Time for brew 2 and hmmm I fancy toast this morning. Nom nom.
How is everyone?

Brew 2 supped and toast eaten.
Round 1
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Fill the birdbath
Put out rubbish and recycling
Put new bin bags in bins
Sort washing into loads
Set first load swishing
WUDUPA
Order repeat prescription
That'll be a good start.
Love to all.
